Israeli occupation forces carried out several invasions across the southern West Bank on Friday, breaking into homes, imposing movement restrictions, firing tear gas and stun grenades at residents, and abducting three Palestinians.
One resident was injured by live‑fire shrapnel during an invasion of Al-Arroub refugee camp near Hebron in the southern West Bank.
Israeli forces also invaded the town of Ethna, west of Hebron in the southern West Bank, deploying across main streets while firing stun grenades and toxic tear gas toward residents.
Soldiers broke into the home of former political prisoner Mutawakkil Mohammad Abu Jheisha, ransacking its contents before withdrawing without reporting injuries or additional abductions.
In the same governorate, the military closed the Salayma military roadblock near the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, preventing residents of several surrounding neighborhoods from reaching their homes.
Local sources reported that Israeli forces continue to impose restrictive measures on movement in the area, including fixed time windows for entering or leaving neighborhoods and controlling access through surrounding military roadblocks.
Additional invasions were reported Friday evening in Ethna, Beit Ummar, Ath Thaheriya, and Al-Arroub refugee camp in the Hebron governorate.
A resident was injured by live‑fire shrapnel during the invasion of Al Arroub, while in Ath-Thaheriya, soldiers fired concussion grenades and toxic tear gas toward homes and residents in the town center.
Later in the day, Israeli forces invaded the area of Khalayel al Louz southeast of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, sealing it off entirely and blocking all movement.
Soldiers broke into several homes, searched them, and damaged their contents before abducting three residents: Yasser Waleed Abu Kamel, Mustafa Abdul Rahman Abu Kamel, and Tareq Ahmad Abu Khaleel.
The army subsequently closed nearby side roads with earth mounds, cutting access to Jabal al ‘Obeyyat, the Abu Kamel area, and the university housing district.
