At dawn on Friday, numerous armored Israeli military vehicles launched a large-scale invasion of Anata town, located northeast of the occupied Palestinian capital, Jerusalem, in the West Bank, before the soldiers stormed and ransacked homes and shops, abducting at least 50 Palestinians.

Dozens of soldiers spread across the town’s entrances, intersections, and streets before dawn, conducting extensive and violent searches of residential buildings, homes, and shops.

Local sources reported that the army vandalized properties, assaulted many Palestinians, and abducted more than 50 young men.

Additionally, dozens of Palestinians were detained and subjected to field interrogations before being released, with some receiving summonses for further questioning.

The sources added that the forces used the home of Mohammad Gheith in the town as a detention and interrogation center for the young men.

The soldiers also smashed the locks and doors of many shops, before vandalizing their contents.

Furthermore, the army assaulted many young men, dragging them through the town’s streets and preventing them from returning to their homes, while families were not allowed to leave their properties.

The invading soldiers also damaged several vehicles parked in front of homes and on the streets.
