Israeli occupation forces abducted at least nine Palestinians, including two children and three women, during a series of military invasions across the occupied West Bank, earlier on Monday.
In Hebron, in the southern West Bank, soldiers abducted three Palestinians during military invasions in several parts of the governorate.
Media sources said Israeli troops stormed Hebron city, invaded the home of Hamed al-Qawamsa, vandalized its contents, and abducted him.
In Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, Israeli forces invaded the neighborhoods of ‘Erq al-Latoun, the Industrial Zone, and the town center.
Soldiers unleashed attack dogs during house invasions, caused extensive property damage, and abducted two 16-year-old boys: Amro Diab Abu Mariya and Ubaida Iyad Izzat Abu Mariya.
The minors were transferred to the illegal colony of “Karmei Tzur,” built on stolen Palestinian land north of Hebron.
Occupation forces also installed multiple military roadblocks at the entrances of Hebron’s towns, villages, and refugee camps. Several main and secondary roads were sealed off with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds, further restricting Palestinian movement.
In Qalqilia, in the northern West Bank, soldiers abducted four Palestinians, including three women, during a pre-dawn military invasion of the village of Baqat al-Hatab, east of the city.
Local sources said the army stormed the village through its main entrance and deployed across the western neighborhood and the Bayader area.
Troops invaded many homes, vandalized their contents, and abducted Jihad Abdul Ghani, Shireen Anan Battah, Safa’ Salahat, and Zahia Hamza Abdul Ghani.
In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, soldiers abducted two Palestinians, Khaled Ali Qablawi and Ahmad Qassem Khallouf, after storming and ransacking their homes in Burqin town, west of the city. Several other homes were also invaded and searched.
In Nablus, also in the northern West Bank, several Israeli military vehicles invaded Balata refugee camp, east of the city, and deployed heavily across its neighborhoods and alleys. The invasion was still ongoing at the time of this report.
