On Sunday, Israeli forces abducted three Palestinian young men in the Bethlehem governorate and five others in the Hebron governorate, in the southern occupied West Bank.
Occupation forces abducted three Palestinian young men in the southern West Bank governorate of Bethlehem after invading and searching their homes.
Media sources said that on Sunday morning, occupation forces abducted the citizens, Ahmad Samih Taqatqa, 27, and Mohammad Iyad Thawabtah, 20, in Beit Fajjar town, south of Bethlehem.
Sources added that Israeli soldiers abducted the citizen, Saddam Ramadan Al-Asa, 34, in the town of Al-Ubeidiya east of the city.
Meanwhile, occupation forces abducted five Palestinian citizens in the southern West Bank governorate of Hebron.
On Sunday morning, Israeli soldiers stormed several neighborhoods in the city of Hebron and abducted four young men, identified as Hussam Misk, Jamil Jamal Karama, Salem Issa al-Jab’a, and Qais Amro, after invading and ransacking their homes.
Northwest of the city, occupation forces abducted the young man, Izzat Amjad Muhammad Ja’afra, in the town of Tarqumiya.
It is important to mention that soldiers detained Palestinian students and teaching staff of the Cordoba Mixed Elementary School at the Shuhada Street military roadblock in the center of Hebron city, preventing them from reaching their school.
In related news, Israeli forces invaded the town of Al-‘Isawiya, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, on Sunday afternoon, stopped and searched citizens’ vehicles, and confiscated their mobile phones.
North of occupied Jerusalem, occupation soldiers stormed the town of Al-Ram, on Sunday afternoon, sparking protests, while firing concussion grenades and tear gas canisters at citizens; no injuries were reported.
In addition, a large army force invaded the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, and deployed soldiers in the Ras al-Amoud neighborhood.
Israeli forces abducted at least 15 Palestinian citizens, between Saturday evening and Sunday morning, in several regions of the occupied West Bank, including Tulkarem, Tubas, Bethlehem, and Hebron.
The Commission of Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) reported that Israeli forces abducted at least 15 Palestinian citizens in several regions of the occupied West Bank, including Hebron, Bethlehem, Tulkarem, and Tubas.
The prisoner associations added that Israeli forces have abducted 11,100 Palestinians in the West Bank since the beginning of the occupation’s military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
