On Saturday, Israeli soldiers abducted eight young Palestinian men in Bethlehem and Hebron governorates, in the occupied West Bank.

Media sources reported that the soldiers invaded a water spring area in Nahhalin town, west of Bethlehem, and attacked several Palestinians before abducting Ahmad Shawqi Shamali, Omar Jabr Abu Zalta, Mohamad Ashraf Thieb, Wasim Ismael Sleimiyya, and Saher Nimir Sleimiyya.

The five Palestinians are from the nearby Hebron governorate, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.

The sources added that the soldiers also abducted two siblings, Mohammad and Bakr Hamamda, while herding their livestock in al-Mafqara village, in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.

Furthermore, the soldiers invaded the Shiokh village, northeast of Hebron, stormed and searched a few homes, and abducted a young man, Rashad Nizar Oweidat.
