On Monday dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded and ransacked dozens of homes across the occupied West Bank, abducted at least nineteen Palestinians, including siblings, and exchanged fire with Palestinian fighters.
In Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted Fadi Adel Atallah, Ibrahim Wajeeh Atallah, Mohammad Na’im Atallah, Monir Na’im Atallah, Salah Mousa Atallah, Ahmad Sa’id Atallah, Mohammad Awad Atallah, and Hamza Awad Atallah, from their homes in Harmala and Al-Asakra villages, east of the Bethlehem city.
The soldiers also abducted Marwan Fararja from his home in the ‘Aida refugee camp north of Bethlehem.
In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Ammar Abdul-Hakim Khallouf from Burqin town, west of the city, and Osaid Abu Bakr from Ya’bad town, south of the city.
In Qalqilia, in the northwestern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Karam Shahwan from Hibleh town, south of the city.
In Nablus city, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Abdul-Rahman Abu Hijla.
In Hebron, in the southern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Bader Zeid Abu Hlayyel from his home in Doura town, south of the city.
In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted a teenage boy, Mohammad Yasser Dariwish, 12, after storming his family’s home and ransacking it in the Al-Isawiya town.
In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, the soldiers abducted Abdul-Rahman Qatash from his home in the city, a former political prisoner, Mohammad Ahmad Barghouti, from Deir Abu Mashal town, and Ala Sa’id Nakhla from the Al-Jalazoun refugee camp.
Protests occurred in many of the invaded Palestinian communities across the occupied West Bank, while Palestinian fighters also exchanged fire with the soldiers invading Burqin town, west of Jenin.
Palestinian fighters also exchanged fire with Israeli soldiers and hurled explosive charges at the military vehicles that invaded Palestinian communities near the Balata refugee camp, Jerzim mountain, and the eastern area of Nablus.
Protests also occurred in the Al-Isawiya town in Jerusalem, Al-Biareh city in the central West Bank, and the Al-Arroub refugee camp north of Hebron.
