Israeli soldiers attacked, on Friday evening, Palestinian protesters in Bab az-Zawiya area, in the center of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and abducted a young man.

Media sources said the soldiers fired rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs and concussion grenades at the protesters, and chased many of them.

They added that the soldiers abducted a young man, who remained unidentified at the time of this report, and took him to a nearby military base.

The soldiers also invaded several neighborhoods in Hebron city, and forced many Palestinians away, in addition to trying to compel stores to close.
