Israeli forces abducted, on Saturday, seven Palestinian citizens, including a journalist, in various regions of the occupied West Bank.
On Saturday afternoon, occupation forces abducted a Palestinian young man while he was passing through a military roadblock in the Qalqilia governorate, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said that soldiers abducted the young man, Mohammad Jamal Saeed Hamamra, a citizen of Jenin, when he attempted to pass through a military roadblock in the Qalqilia governorate.
Meanwhile, at dawn, occupation forces stormed the village of Qibya, northwest of Ramallah in the central West Bank and abducted four young men.
Media sources said that the army abducted Qusay Walid Ghaidan, Yassin Musa Al-Ajrab, Baraa Ibrahim Shaker, and Mohammad Hassan, after invading and ransacking their homes.
In the afternoon, a large army force vehicles stormed several neighborhoods in the town of Birzeit, north of Ramallah; no abductions were reported.
Furthermore, Israeli forces abducted a Palestinian journalist, assaulted worshipers, and prevented citizens from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.
Media sources said that occupation forces abducted the photojournalist, Abdel Rahman Al-Alami, while he was present in the courtyards, and assaulted several young men.

Eyewitnesses reported that dozens of citizens were forced to perform the afternoon prayer near the Lions’ Gate and in the streets of Old Jerusalem, after being denied entry to the mosque.
Furthermore, Israeli forces invaded the town of Al-‘Isawiya, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, abducted a member of the Fatah movement, and assaulted his wife and two sons.
Media sources said that occupation soldiers stormed and ransacked the home of Yasser Darwish, on Saturday evening, before abducting him and taking him to the Al-Maskobiyya detention center.
Sources added that the army assaulted Darwish’s wife and two sons, Hassan and Mohammad, and fired rubber-coated steel rounds at them; his two sons were transported to hospital for treatment.
According to a statement from the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) and the Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs, at least fifteen Palestinian citizens were abducted by occupation forces between Friday evening and Saturday morning, in the Qalqilia, Jericho, Ramallah, Jerusalem, and Hebron governorates.
The statement added that the total number of abductions since October 7, 2023 has reached more than 9,535, including those who were abducted from their homes, through military roadblocks, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.
