On Sunday, Israeli forces abducted many Palestinians, including women, across Hebron city and surrounding towns, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.
The incursions targeted Hebron city, Sa’ir, Beit Ummar, Shiokh, Surif, and the Al-Fawwar and Al-Arroub refugee camps.
Troops also stormed the campuses of Hebron University and Palestine Polytechnic University, where they interrogated students and faculty members after bringing them in from their homes.
Media sources confirmed abductions in various neighborhoods of Hebron, including Tareq Amro, Amara Amro, and Ihsan Al-Ja’bari.
In Sa’ir, a Palestinian woman, Fatima Mousa Al-Halayqa was detained and later released following field interrogation, while several homes were searched.
In Al-Fawwar camp, the Israeli army abducted Abdel Jalil Abu Hosniyya and Mustafa Abu Hosniyya.
In Beit Ummar’s Safa area, media activist Mohammad Ayad Awad reported that homes were ransacked and Obaida Ghazi Hassan Adi, a 26-year-old university student, was abducted.
Four residents, including two women, from Surif town, Esra’ Khader Lafi, Fatima Anan Al-Qadi, Ahmad Mohammad Abdullah Hamidat, and Hussam Ahmad Al-Hour, were also detained and later released after on-site questioning.
