Earlier Sunday, Israeli soldiers carried out a series of invasions across the occupied West Bank, abducting numerous Palestinians from their homes after breaking into and ransacking dozens of properties.

In Jenin, located in the northern West Bank, soldiers invaded Bir Al-Basha village, south of the city, where they searched multiple homes and abducted Mohammad Khashan.

Notably, the soldiers initially sought to detain Ahmad Khashan but, upon failing to locate him, decided to take his brother Mohammad instead.

On January 25, 2024, undercover Israeli soldiers assassinated their brother Wisam, shot Mohammad in the leg, and detained Ahmad, who was later released.

In Nablus, also in the northern West Bank, the soldiers raided Burin town, south of the city, searching homes and abducting Mustafa Zahrawi.

Additional invasions were conducted in various villages and towns within the Nablus governorate, where homes were searched extensively.

In Qalqilia, soldiers caused significant damage while ransacking homes before abducting Ibrahim Al-Hotari, Hamada Abdul-Hafeth, Oda Miskawi, Saleh Miskawi, and Odah Miskawi.

Furthermore, in Al-Mughayyir village, northeast of Ramallah in the central West Bank, the army abducted Khaled Omar Abu Alia after storming his home.

During this invasion, several young men near Abu Alia’s residence were detained and interrogated.

In Um Safa village, northwest of Ramallah, soldiers stormed an abandoned home, causing severe damage to its doors and contents.

In related incidents, soldiers invaded Silwad town, Betonia, Ni’lin, and Deir Nitham village, leading to protests.

During the Silwad invasion, Fares Abdullah, Walid Osama, and Zein Ibrahim Al-Hindi were abducted from their homes.

In the Hebron governorate, located in the southern West Bank, soldiers conducted extensive searches in the city and surrounding areas, including Sa’ir, Halhoul, Beit Ummar towns, and the Al-‘Arroub refugee camp.

These invasions involved the use of live ammunition and gas bombs, as well as the installation of roadblocks and the closure of streets with concrete blocks and iron barriers.

The soldiers also abducted Yahia Mohammad Abu Turki and Islam Nayef Abu Turki, after invading their homes and ransacking them, in the southern area of Hebron city.

During the invasions, the soldiers also stormed the home and furniture of Zakari Fadi az-Zaro, and violently searched it, causing extensive damage to property, its furniture and contents.
