Israeli forces abducted, on Tuesday, at least six Palestinian citizens, including a female former prisoner, and injured others after invading many towns and villages in the occupied West Bank.
Before dawn on Tuesday, Israeli forces abducted the former prisoner, Yasmine Tayseer Abdel Rahman Shaaban, 41, after she was summoned for an Israeli intelligence review at the Al-Jalamah military camp, north of Jenin, in the northern West Bank.
In the northeastern part of the West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the city of Tubas, before dawn on Tuesday, from its eastern entrance, and stormed several neighborhoods, sparking protests.
Later military reinforcements were sent in, while Israeli sharpshooters were deployed in many areas, and armed Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire with the invading army.
On Tuesday morning, occupation forces stormed and searched the home of Murad Muhammad Abu Mutawa, in the city of Tubas, before abducting him.
Meanwhile, in the northern West Bank city of Nablus, Israeli soldiers invaded and searched, on Tuesday at dawn, the homes of Sami Al-Shami and Karim Darwaza, in the city of Nablus, before abducting them.
It was added that the army invaded the towns of Qusra and Asira ash-Shamaliya, southeast and north of the city, breaking into several citizens homes.
On Tuesday evening, Israeli soldiers invaded the village of Beit Imrin, northwest of Nablus, and abducted Muhammad Abdo and Moataz Ayman Hajji, after storming and searching their homes.
Furthermore, the army stormed, on Tuesday evening, the city of Al-Biereh, east of Ramallah in the central West Bank, sparking protests among Palestinian youths.
Media sources said that soldiers invaded the “cafĂ© area”, the Al-Omari Mosque, and the home of the citizen, Sharaf Qaraan, while firing tear gas canisters and concussion grenades; no injuries were reported.
In the southern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded and ransacked, on Tuesday morning, the home of the citizen, Mahmoud Musa Al-Amour, after storming the town of Tuqu’, southeast of Bethlehem.
On Tuesday evening, occupation forces stormed the town of Al-Khader, southwest of Bethlehem, and fired concussion grenades and tear gas canisters; no injuries were reported.
After invading the Al-Arroub refugee camp, northeast of Hebron, in the southern West Bank, on Tuesday evening, soldiers opened fire with tear gas canisters at citizens and their homes, causing several Palestinians to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.
In related news, soldiers shot a Palestinian young man in the thigh with live ammunition, and abducted another, in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.
