On Monday, occupation forces abducted sixteen Palestinians, including a woman, a citizen of Gaza, and a former prisoner, in several regions of the occupied West Bank.
Israeli forces abducted, on Monday afternoon, a Palestinian young man from the Jenin governorate, identified as Hamza Adnan Khaliliyah, when he was in the vicinity of the “Salem” military roadblock, northwest of Jenin, in the northern West Bank.
At dawn, the army invaded the towns and villages of Deir Abu Da’if, Jalqamus, and Zababdeh, east, to south of Jenin, and conducted a large-scale search operation, sparking protests among local Palestinians.
Media sources said that soldiers opened fire with live rounds and tear gas canisters at those who resisted the incursion in Deir Abu Da’if; no injuries were reported.
Meanwhile, in the evening, occupation forces re-abducted a Palestinian detainee from the Jenin governorate, who was just released from Israeli prison in the Negev desert, while he passed through the “Ad-Dhahiriya” military roadblock, southwest of Hebron in the southern West Bank.
The family of the released prisoner, Omar Kamel Jabari, from Al-Yamun, said that Omar finished his sentence in November of 2023, before being transferred to Administrative Detention, and was just released today.
East of Jericho, in the northeastern part of the West Bank, Israeli forces abducted a Palestinian young man when he was passing through the “Karama” Border Crossing, on his way to Jordan, on Monday afternoon.
According to Eid Barahma, the director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) in Jericho, Israeli soldiers abducted Mohammad Farouk Ahmad Al-Sawalhi, 29, a resident of the Gaza Strip, when he was attempting to cross the border into Jordan.
In the evening, the army abducted two Palestinian young men in the northern Jordan Valley, after assaulting them.
According to Kamal Bani Odeh, the director of the PPS in Tubas, occupation forces abducted Amir Sayel Fuqaha, 28, in Ein al-Beida village, and Hussein Youssef Sawafta, 26, in Bardala village, in the northern Jordan Valley, after assaulting them.
Furthermore, the army erected a flying military roadblock at the northern entrance to the city of Al-Biereh, in the central West Bank, and abducted a Palestinian citizen of the Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, southwest of Jericho.
According to Eid Barahma, the director of the PPS in Jericho, soldiers abducted the young man, Ribhi Abdel Khaleq Damo at the military roadblock, on Monday evening.
After invading the town of Aqaba, northwest of Tubas in the northeastern part of the West Bank, Israeli forces stormed, in the morning, the homes of Mohammad Jihad al-Masry and Mohammad Khalifa Abu Arra, before abducting them.
On Sunday night, Israeli forces abducted the young man, Abdul Rahman Mohammad Abayat, a resident of the Ramallah governorate in the central West Bank, when he passed through a military roadblock on the Jericho-Ramallah road, on his way home from work.
At dawn Monday, the army invaded the town of Sinjil, northeast of Ramallah in the central West Bank, storming and searching the homes of Mujahid Ahmad Ghafri, Nour Mohammad Dar Khalil, and Hassan Muawiyah Fuqaha, before abducting them.
Soldiers abducted, on Monday evening, a citizen of the Ramallah governorate, Omar Mohammad Asfour Al-Barghouthi, as he tried to pass through a flying military roadblock, north of Ramallah city.
Moreover, on Monday morning, Israeli forces invaded the home of Mohammad Darwish, in the village of Al-Judeira, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, before abducting him.
In the nearby village of Al-Jib, soldiers abducted a wounded young man, identified as Hosni Saleh Abu Dayyeh, after storming his family’s home.
On Monday afternoon, Israeli forces abducted a Palestinian woman and assaulted an elderly woman in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the southern West Bank.
Media sources said that soldiers stormed and searched the home of the citizen, Khalil Younis Abu Aram, abducted an unidentified woman, and assaulted an elderly woman.
