On Saturday, Israeli soldiers abducted two Palestinians, including a former political prisoner, and detained several others near Nablus and Qalqilia in the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said the soldiers abducted a young man and detained several others for a few hours south of Nablus, in the northern West Bank.
They added that the soldiers stopped and interrogated the Palestinians on the main street near the entrance of the illegal Yitzhar colony, built on stolen Palestinian lands.
The soldiers also abducted a former political prisoner, Ibrahim Ammar Abbas, 24, while crossing a military roadblock near Qalqilia in the northwestern West Bank.
It is worth mentioning that Abbas, from Mothallath Ash-Shuhada village, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank, is a former political prisoner who was released from an Israeli prison just four days earlier.
