Israeli occupation forces invaded the town of Silwad, east of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank, on Friday evening, assaulting one Palestinian and abducting another.
Local sources reported that several Israeli military vehicles invaded the town before closing streets and attacking Palestinians.
They added the one Palestinian sustained bruises and injuries after being severely beaten by the soldiers during the invasion.
Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) medics rushed to the area, rendered first aid to the wounded young man before moving him to a hospital in Ramallah.

During the same invasion, Israeli forces abducted Luay Mansour and seized his vehicle. Troops also took positions on the rooftops of several buildings across multiple areas of the town.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli occupation forces assaulted and abducted a young Palestinian man on Friday evening in the Bab al-Amoud area, after the army attacked street vendors.
In addition, the soldiers abducted a Palestinian man and his son late Friday night during a military invasion of the town of Kobar, northwest of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.
Furthermore, Israeli forces shot two Palestinian young men with live rounds near Ramallah in the central West Bank, and abducted two brothers in the town of Abu Dis, east of occupied Jerusalem.
Also on Friday, the Palestinian Health Ministry announced the death of the children, Mohammad Abdullah Tayyem (16 years old) and Mohammad Rashad Fadel Qassem (16 years old), after they were gunned down by Israeli forces in the village of Al-Juneira, north of occupied Jerusalem.
