On Wednesday evening, Israeli soldiers assaulted and abducted a volunteer medic with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) at the Ein Siniya military roadblock, north of Ramallah, in the central part of the occupied West Bank.
The head of the Tubas office of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) said the soldiers abducted the medic, Mohammad Eyad Hussein Daraghma, 22, at the roadblock and took him to an unknown destination.
He added that the soldiers stopped a PRCS ambulance at the roadblock and detained its crew before assaulting Daraghma and abducting him.
The soldiers also stopped and searched dozens of cars and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
On Thursday dawn, Israeli soldiers shot two Palestinians, including a teenage boy, in Nablus and Jenin, in the northern West Bank.
