Israeli forces carried out multiple assaults, abductions, and invasions across the occupied West Bank on Sunday, injuring a child in Nablus in the northern West Bank, abducting Palestinian workers near occupied Jerusalem, and invading several villages east of Ramallah in the central West Bank.

In the town of ‘Awrata, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank, a 14‑year‑old child sustained bruises after being assaulted by Israeli soldiers.

The Director of the Emergency and Ambulance Center of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Nablus, Amid Ahmad, said medical crews treated the child and transferred him to a hospital for further care.

Later in the evening, Israeli forces abducted 12 Palestinian workers near the illegal colony of Atarot, north of occupied Jerusalem, after they managed to cross parts of the Annexation Wall in an attempt to reach their workplaces.

Local sources reported that soldiers had set up an ambush in the area before abducting the workers and transferring them to an undisclosed location. Their conditions and whereabouts remain unknown.

These incidents come amid increasing attempts by Palestinian laborers to reach workplaces inside occupied Jerusalem and areas inside the 1948 territories, as Israel continues to impose severe restrictions on work permits.

The tightened measures force workers to take dangerous routes, including climbing the Wall or passing through openings in it.

Before midnight, the soldiers shot a young man with live round in the thigh near the Annexation Wall in the town of ar-Ram, north of Jerusalem, before Palestinian medics rushed him to a hospital in Ramallah.

Human rights reports indicate that since the beginning of the year, areas north of occupied Jerusalem—particularly around the town of ar‑Ram in the central West Bank—have witnessed numerous injuries among workers, including live‑fire wounds and injuries from falls while climbing the Wall. Last year, several workers were killed or seriously injured under similar circumstances.

In the central West Bank, Israeli forces invaded several villages east of Ramallah, firing live ammunition, targeting homes, and converting some into military posts, creating widespread fear among residents.

In Kafr Malik, soldiers fired live rounds while moving through the village’s streets, causing panic among residents and prompting a state of alert.

In Deir Jarir, Israeli forces deployed in the Wadi al‑Jami‘ area, firing stun grenades and conducting extensive invasions throughout the village.

In the village of al‑Mughayyer, Israeli forces broke into homes belonging to Hamza As‘ad Abu ‘Alia and Nasim Abu ‘Alia, expelled the families, and converted the houses into military positions.

Soldiers also installed a military roadblock at the village’s western entrance, disrupting movement and further destabilizing daily life.

Residents reported that these invasions are part of an ongoing series of Israeli military operations in the eastern Ramallah area, aimed at asserting control over roads and targeting Palestinian communities and their property.
