Israeli occupation forces demolished an agricultural room, tore down a retaining wall, and bulldozed farmland on Thursday in the village of Birin, in the Masafer Yatta area south of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.

Farid Burqan, head of the Birin Village Council, stated that the soldiers invaded the area with a military bulldozer and demolished an agricultural room in the Khallet al‑Furn area belonging to citizen Nahid al‑Rajabi.

Burqan added that the soldiers then proceeded to destroy a retaining wall owned by Sa’id Abu Hadid.

The troops also bulldozed agricultural land belonging to citizen Ezz Abu Hamad, causing extensive damage to crops and trees.

Residents said the destruction is part of a broader pattern of targeting agricultural infrastructure and farmland in Masafer Yatta, an area already facing repeated demolitions, land seizures, and pressure aimed at displacing Palestinian communities.

The latest demolition adds to a series of ongoing Israeli actions in the region, where agricultural structures, water networks, and farmland are routinely targeted under the pretext of lacking permits—permits that Israeli authorities systematically deny to Palestinian residents.

In related news, Israeli occupation forces demolished two Palestinian homes on Thursday in the Upper Ta’awun area of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.

The demolition was carried out after military units, accompanied by three armored bulldozers, invaded the neighborhood and began tearing down the structures. During the invasion and the demolitions, Israeli soldiers fired gas bombs at media crews to force them out of the area, wounding several journalists.
