On Thursday, Israeli soldiers injured four Palestinian children, including two who were shot with live fire, in Ramallah and Nablus, in the central and northern parts of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources reported that numerous army vehicles invaded Sinjil town, northeast of Ramallah, and assaulted two children.
The sources stated that the soldiers assaulted Ala’ Asfour, 11, and another child, 17, before confiscating a mobile phone from the 17-year-old and sending a message threatening to “punish anyone who makes problems,” referring to the protests that occur during the repeated invasions.
In related news, the soldiers invaded Beit Furik town, east of Nablus, leading to protests, and fired several live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that the soldiers shot two children, both 15 years of age, with live rounds in their thighs.
In Bethlehem, the soldiers invaded the Al-Khader town, south of the city, especially the Al-Bawwaba area, and fired gas bombs and concussion grenades, causing many Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
