Israeli occupation forces invaded the city of Nablus at dawn, storming the Aqaba quarter in the Old City and spreading across Ras al‑Ein, Khan at‑Tujjar, Martyrs’ Square, and the Fatimiyya School, wounding four Palestinians.
Update: The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has confirmed that Israeli soldiers shot four Palestinians with live fire in Nablus.
The soldiers closed several streets and main intersections, blocking Palestinian traffic, in addition to stopping and interrogating many residents.
The attacks led to protests before the soldiers fired live ammunition, tear gas, and stun grenades fired extensively, leaving several civilians injured.
Director of the Palestinian Red Crescent Emergency Center in Nablus, Amid Ahmad, stated that ambulance crews treated four injuries from live fire: one to the chest, another to the knee, a third from bullet shrapnel, and a fourth with shrapnel wounds to the head.
In related news, Israeli soldiers invaded the tow of Qusra, south of Nablus, and closed streets, leading to protests.
Also on Wednesday, Israeli soldiers invaded Jenin city in the northern occupied West Bank, closing streets and detaining dozens of residents. Four Palestinians were assaulted and injured during the invasion.
