On Thursday dawn, several Israeli army vehicles invaded Nablus, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, to accompany dozens of colonizers into Joseph’s Tomb area, leading to protests, before the army injured dozens of Palestinians, including at least four with live fire, and caused serious property damage.

Ahmad Jibril, the head of the Nablus office of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), said the soldiers shot three Palestinians with live fire in the arm and the chest and one who multiple gunshot wounds to the legs and the pelvis, in addition to another young man who sustained shrapnel wounds to his back and legs.

Jibril added that the soldiers shot a Palestinian with a gas bomb in the head and caused at least 120 to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

The soldiers also chased a young man, causing him to fall and suffer a fracture in the leg before Palestinian medics rushed him to a hospital in the city.

The soldiers attacked two Palestinians in their car near the Palestine Telecommunications Company in Nablus, causing various cuts and bruises.

Jibril also said the soldiers fired gas bombs at a PRCS ambulance while transferring wounded Palestinians to a hospital, causing damage.

Furthermore, the soldiers targeted Palestinian journalists with a barrage of gas bombs to force them to leave the area and stop the ongoing invasion.

In addition, the medics evacuated three workers from the market area in Nablus after gas bombs and concussion grenades caused a massive fire, and also evacuated a family from their home in the Dahia area after the army fired gas bombs at their homes.

Firefighters rushed to the area to extinguish the fire despite the ongoing invasion and repeated attacks by the invading soldiers.

Furthermore, the soldiers abducted a young man, Amid Nasr Sawalma, after storming his home and ransacking it in the Balata refugee camp, causing serious damage.

During the invasion, military vehicles and bulldozers deliberately damaged several cars parked on the sides of the refugee camp’s alleys.

The incidents took place after many military vehicles, including bulldozers, invaded Nablus city from the side of Rojeeb Street and Beit Furik military roadblock to accompany the colonizers.
