Israeli occupation forces carried out widespread invasions across several West Bank districts at dawn Thursday, storming homes, assaulting residents, and abducting many Palestinians, including women and children, while Israeli colonizers—escorted by soldiers—also stormed Islamic shrines in the village of ‘Awarta near Nablus.
In Tulkarem, in the northwestern West Bank, the soldiers invaded the Shweika suburb, stormed several homes, and abducted two former political prisoners, Ahmad Sa’id Salah and Ahmad Sheikh Ghanem.
In Qalqilia, in the northwestern West Bank, the soldiers invaded and ransacked several homes in the Naqqar neighborhood and abducted six Palestinians: Medyin Ammawi, Laith Ishteiwi, Mohammad Shaath, Abdullah Abu Adwan, Ahmad Elian, and Sa’id Salama.
The soldiers also invaded and violently searched several homes in the Kfar Saba neighborhood in the city and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, many military vehicles invaded the village of Awarta, southwest of the city, twice within a few hours, storming and ransacking numerous homes while accompanying groups of colonizers throughout the village.
The army also invaded the villages of Till, southwest of Nablus, Burqa to the northwest, and Ammuriya to the south, before ransacking many homes and abducting five Palestinians.
The abducted were identified as Omar Aseeda from Till; a child, Hamad Dosouqi, from Burqa; in addition to Anas Ali Hakawati and Mo’tasem Mohammad Hakawati from Ammuriya.
Late on Wednesday, the soldiers abducted Mohammad Hisham Shanti from a residential building the army surrounded and invaded on Tunis Street in Nablus city.
In related news, groups of colonizers invaded the village of ‘Awarta, southeast of Nablus, at dawn Thursday, and performed rituals inside Islamic religious shrines under heavy military protection.
Local and security sources said hundreds of colonizers, escorted by large numbers of soldiers, invaded the village before dawn and remained at the religious sites until the early morning hours, while the army deployed throughout the village and its surroundings and blocked Palestinian movement.
In Tubas, in the northeastern West Bank, many military vehicles invaded Tammun town, south of the city, before searching homes and abducting a young man, Ezzeddine Mithqal Bano Odah.
Furthermore, dozens of illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers, accompanied by soldiers, invaded the at‑Tibna Bedouin community in Al‑Khan Al‑Ahmar, east of occupied Jerusalem, assaulting several residents while the army detained and interrogated young men.
In Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem, dozens of soldiers invaded several alleys, stormed homes, and abducted a young man, Yazan Fadel Rajabi.
In Hebron, in the southern West Bank, the soldiers abducted six Palestinians and assaulted women and children during multiple invasions across the district.
The soldiers invaded the towns of Yatta and as‑Samu’, south of Hebron, and abducted Mahmoud Jibrin an‑Nawaj’a, Jabr Ahmad an‑Nawaj’a, Salem Ahmad al‑Hawamda, and Thieb Ahmad al‑Hawamda after storming and ransacking their homes.
From Al‑Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, the soldiers abducted Thaer Hisham Tafesh and Ahmad Basem al‑Qeeq after invading and searching their homes and damaging their contents.
In a separate late‑night invasion, occupation forces stormed several homes in the Salayma neighborhood of Hebron city, where they assaulted residents, including women and children, before conducting extensive searches and deliberately destroying household belongings.
The soldiers also invaded the town of as‑Samu’, south of the city, before breaking into and searching homes.
