On Thursday, a young Palestinian man was injured after an Israeli military jeep rammed his motorcycle near the Al-Jalama military roadblock northeast of Jenin in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
Eyewitnesses said the army jeeps chased the Palestinian motorcycle and rammed into it, causing it to crash and wounding the driver.
They added that it remained unclear why the military jeeps chased the driver, especially since the soldiers did not attempt to abduct him after they caused his motorcycle to crash.
Palestinian medics were called to the scene and rushed the young man to a hospital in Jenin, where his wounds have been described as moderate.
In related news, the soldiers abducted Ahmad Walweel, 18, near the eastern entrance of Qalqilia, in the northern West Bank.
