Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian child, on Thursday, after storming the northwestern West Bank city of Qalqilia.


The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that the child, Naeem Abdullah Naeem Samha, 15, was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers in the city of Qalqilia.

Media sources said that on Thursday afternoon, occupation forces invaded the eastern part of the city of Qalqilia, sparking protests.

Sources added that soldiers invaded several citizens’ homes and commercial shops, leading to protests among local Palestinians.

Soldiers opened fire with live ammunition, shooting the child, Samha, in the chest, causing serious injuries; he was transported to the Qalqilia Governmental Hospital, where doctors pronounced him deceased.

Israeli forces have now killed 550 Palestinian civilians, including 135 children, and injured at least 5,200 others, in various regions of the occupied West Bank, since the beginning of the military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
