Israeli forces shot and abducted a Palestinian young man, on Thursday, in the town of Ar-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem, and continued its siege on towns to the northwest, and invading others.

Media sources said that occupation forces shot a young man in the thigh with live ammunition while he was near the Apartheid Wall located between the towns of Ar-Ram and Beit Hanina, north of occupied Jerusalem, on Thursday afternoon.

The sources added that soldiers blocked ambulance crews from approaching the unidentified young man, before abducting him; his condition was unknown at the time of writing this report.

On Thursday night, Israeli forces stormed the town of Ar-Ram, firing concussion grenades and tear gas canisters without causing injuries.

Since Monday, Israeli forces have escalated their repressive measures against Palestinian citizens, particularly in the towns of Qatanna, al-Qubeiba, and Biddu, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, invading homes and abducting several Palestinians.

On Monday, two Palestinian young men were killed after allegedly carrying out a shooting operation, which killed six Israeli settlers and wounded eleven, at a bus station at the Ramot Junction, north of occupied Jerusalem.


Meanwhile, large army forces invaded the towns of Biddu and Qatanna, deployed infantry units, and imposed curfew on their citizens.

Media sources reported that occupation forces stormed the towns of Biddu and Qatanna, invaded and ransacked several citizens’ homes, closed commercial shops, and imposed curfew.

Sources added that soldiers detained several citizens, assaulted them, and subjected them to field interrogation, while abducting others.
