Israeli forces shot, on Tuesday, one Palestinian young man, and injured several others during incursions into many areas of the northern West Bank governorate of Nablus.

On Tuesday afternoon, Israeli forces invaded the town of Beita, south of Nablus, triggering protests from local Palestinian youths.

According to Ahmad Jibril, the director of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Ambulance and Emergency Services in Nablus, a young man was transported to hospital after soldiers shot him in the foot with live rounds.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday night, occupation forces invaded the town of Qabalan, south of Nablus, which sparked protests among local youths.

According to Abdul Rahman Abed, the Deputy Mayor of the town, the army stormed the town and heavily fired live ammunition, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters at those who resisted the incursion, causing several Palestinians suffered the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.

Furthermore, the army invaded the city of Nablus and the town of Qusra, southeast of the city, on Tuesday afternoon.

Media sources said that occupation forces stormed various neighborhoods in the city of Nablus, and fired rubber-coated steel rounds, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades at citizens, without any injuries being reported.

Southeast of the city, the army invaded the town of Qusra, deployed an infantry unit in the southeastern area of the town, and heavily fired live rounds; no injuries were reported.

In the morning, the army stormed the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, in addition to the eastern region of the city, followed by military reinforcements, including a military bulldozer.

Media sources said that a large army force invaded the camp, roamed the streets in the “Zaghloul” and “Al-Jamasin” neighborhoods, while taking photographs of commercial shops in the area.

In the eastern region of Nablus city, soldiers broke into at least one Palestinian-owned home on Al-Madares Street; no abductions were reported.
