Israeli occupation forces shot and injured a 14‑year‑old child and a 39‑year‑old man during a military invasion of the Old City and several neighborhoods in Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its medics treated a child who was shot with live ammunition in the thigh, and a man who was injured by live‑round shrapnel in the head and foot, before transferring both to hospital.

Israeli forces invaded the Old City early in the morning and closed several streets, leading to protests.

The soldiers fired live rounds, toxic gas, and stun grenades while deploying heavily across surrounding neighborhoods, wounding the two Palestinians, and causing damage to several cars.
