Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man in the town of Burqin, west of Jenin, and caused dozens of citizens to suffer inhalation injuries in the village of Al-Lubban Ash-Sharqiya, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank.

Media sources reported that occupation forces invaded the town of Burqin on Friday night, deployed soldiers throughout the town, and pursued several young men.

The sources added that the soldiers opened fire towards the young men with live ammunition, shooting one and preventing ambulance crews from reaching him.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) later reported that their ambulance crews were able to transport a young man to the hospital after he sustained a live gunshot wound to the thigh.

Meanwhile, occupation forces stormed the village of Al-Lubban Ash-Sharqiya, on Friday night, injuring dozens of Palestinian citizens and damaging their vehicles.

WAFA correspondent reported that occupation forces erected flying military roadblocks at the northern and eastern entrances, impeding citizens’ movements.

He added that the army opened fire with tear gas canisters and concussion grenades towards citizens’ vehicles and homes, damaging vehicles and causing dozens to suffer inhalation injuries as a result of teargas exposure.
