Over the past 24 hours, at least 165 Palestinian civilians were killed and injured as a result of the Israeli occupation forces continuing to bomb various areas of the Gaza Strip, concentrated in the center and south of the Gaza Strip, coinciding with strong explosions north of Gaza City.
Medical sources said that the occupation forces committed 14 massacres against Palestinian families during the past 24 hours, claiming the lives of 165 Palestinians and 250 injuries.
Local sources said that the Israeli occupation artillery bombed the minaret of the Old City Mosque in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, and the Israeli warplanes and its artillery also targeted the Bureij camp.
In Nusseirat and the Maghazi refugee camps and the Zawaida area, in central Gaza, the Israeli army fired missiles at homes. Media sources said at least three Palestinians were killed and many injured, mostly women and children, were killed when the Israeli warplanes targeted a house belonging to the Salem family in the Al-Sawarha area in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
A number of Palestinian civilians from the Hamada family were also injured after their house was targeted by the Israeli occupation aircraft west of the Nuseirat camp. Five Palestinians were killed and a number of others were injured after warplanes targeted a house for the Shehadeh family in the Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip.
At least one civilian was killed and others were injured and were taken to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the camp. At least 12 civilians were killed and a number of others, most of them children, were injured as a result of the Israeli aircraft bombing a house belonging to the Abu Jumaa family in the Al-Zawaida area in the central Gaza Strip.
A civilian was also killed, and two others were injured, as a result of a violent artillery shelling on a house in the Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society confirmed that its crews transported the corpse and the two injured to the hospital.
In Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, civilian Eid Rafiq Salman Abu Rashid was killed in an Israeli bombing in the Al Salam neighborhood, east of Rafah, and a number of martyrs and wounded fell as a result of Israeli artillery shelling east of Rafah.
An Israeli drone also targeted the roof of a house opposite the government industry in the Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood in Rafah, and the occupation aircraft bombed a house belonging to the Abu Jamous family, west of the city.
Saturday night, the occupation aircraft also targeted the southern areas of the city of Khan Younis. Four civilians were killed as a result of a violent bombardment on the vicinity of the European Hospital, southeast of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Warplanes targeted Juhr al-Dik, south of Gaza City.An Apache helicopter fired its heavy machine guns at the northern neighborhoods of the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Health Ministry stated Saturday that over the 85 days of escalation, “Israeli violations against the health system led to the deaths of 312 health personnel, including specialized personnel. The Israeli military also deliberately destroyed 104 ambulances, which led to them being out of service.”
Over the past 85 days, the Israeli occupation targeted 142 health institutions, and put 23 hospitals and 53 health centers out of service, while 99 health personnel are still being arrested, led by hospital directors in northern Gaza. 900,000 children in shelter centers are exposed to the dangers of extreme cold, dehydration, malnutrition, respiratory and skin diseases, and the lack of vaccinations for newborns. Also, 50,000 pregnant women suffer from malnutrition and health complications, especially those with high-risk pregnancies in shelter centers, as a result of the lack of drinking water, hygiene, food and health care.
The Council for Youth and Sports said that the Israeli occupation army killed hundreds of players and sports icons, destroyed dozens of stadiums and clubs, and turned some of them into detention, torture and execution centers. This includes the largest football stadium in Gaza City, where hundreds of men and boys are still being held and tortured by Israeli forces. The Sports Council said these blatant violations against Palestinian civilians amount to war crimes.
In the ongoing Israeli aggression against Gaza by land, sea and air that began the seventh of October has risen to more than 21,650 thousand killed and about 56,000 injured, in addition to thousands of missing persons, an estimated 70% of whom are children and women.
