Israeli occupation forces carried out several invasions across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem on Thursday, with the most serious incident occurring in Al‑Jalazone refugee camp, near the central West Bank city of Ramallah, where a child was shot in the head and remains in extremely critical condition.

Medical sources at the Istishari Hospital said the child arrived with a life‑threatening head wound after soldiers opened fire during a large military incursion into the camp.

Local residents reported that dozens of troops stormed the area, triggering protests in which the army fired live rounds directly at civilians.

In Umm al‑Sharayet, south of Ramallah, three Palestinians were injured during another military invasion, including a child shot with a rubber‑coated round, while others suffered from tear‑gas inhalation after soldiers fired gas canisters into residential streets.

In Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem, soldiers assaulted Palestinian farmers working their land in the Jabal al‑Manzala area before abducting four of them, including a 17‑year‑old child. Residents noted that one of the detainees, Ahmad Awni Taqatqa, had previously been assaulted by soldiers on the same land, suffering fractures and bruises.

In Beit Furik, east of Nablus in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces assaulted and abducted another child during an invasion marked by live fire and clashes with residents.

Earlier in the day, Israeli forces invaded Kafr ‘Aqab, north of occupied Jerusalem, storming the Samir Amis area, firing concussion grenades, closing the main road, and blocking vehicle movement.
