Illegal Israeli colonizers assaulted a Palestinian citizen and damaged his vehicle on Friday, when he was driving north of Jericho in the northeastern part of the West Bank.
According to Hassan Mleihat, the general supervisor of the Al-Baydar human rights organization, a group of Israeli colonizers assaulted the citizen, Ahmad Mohammad Ghawanmah, while he was travelling between Jericho and Al-Auja town.
He added that the settlers hurled rocks at Ghawanmah’s vehicle, smashing the windows causing severe damage.
Earlier, colonizers in the northern Jordan Valley blocked Palestinian farmers from accessing their lands to plow their lands, on Friday morning.
Media sources said that a group of Israeli settlers prevented citizens from entering their lands in the Al-Farsiyah.
The sources added that illegal colonizers have fenced off an estimated 2,000 dunams of citizens’ land in Al-Farsiyah with the intent to seize it.
In related news, a group of colonizers attacked a gathering of Palestinian citizens in the Bedouin community of Khirbet Samra in the northern Jordan Valley, verbally abusing them, and attacking their livestock.
