Illegal Israeli colonizers cut down 100 olive trees, demolished an agricultural room near Bethlehem, and burned dozens of olive trees near Salfit, in the southern and central parts of the occupied West Bank.
On Tuesday night, illegal Israeli colonizers cut down 100 olive trees, destroyed an agricultural room, and stole its contents near the “Asfar” settlement, built on expropriated Palestinian lands, south of Bethlehem in the southern occupied West Bank.
Hasan Breijiyya, the head of the Bethlehem office of the Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission, told the WAFA News Agency that a group of Israeli settlers cut down 100 olive trees on lands owned by a local citizen.
Breijiyya added that the colonizers demolished an agricultural room owned by the citizen, Jamil Hussein Kawazbeh, and stole everything inside.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday evening, a group of colonizers, under the protection of the army, burned dozens of olive trees in the village of Yasuf, northeast of Salfit in the central occupied West Bank.
Wael Abu Madi, the head of the Yasuf village council told WAFA that illegal settlers set fire to dozens of olive trees in the village, while locals were unable to extinguish the fire because of the army’s presence.
