Israeli forces carried out a series of invasions, abductions, and other violations across the occupied West Bank on Sunday, targeting multiple towns, villages, and refugee camps, and restricting the movement of Palestinian civilians at military roadblocks.
In Tubas in the northeastern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted two young men in separate incidents. Kamel Bani Odeh, director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society office in Tubas, said the soldiers abducted 19‑year‑old Hussein Yousef Bisharat from the town of Tammun, south of Tubas, while he was passing through the Ein Shibli military roadblock in the central Jordan Valley.
Later in the day, the army abducted 31‑year‑old Khaldoun Jamal Daraghma from the village of Tayasir, east of Tubas, after summoning him for interrogation at the Tayasir military roadblock.
In Salfit in the central West Bank, large numbers of Israeli soldiers invaded the town of Kifl Hares to secure the entry of illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers into Islamic sites.
Local sources reported that troops spread throughout the streets, surrounded the religious sites, forced shops to close, and imposed tight restrictions on residents to facilitate the colonizers’ presence.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces abducted Raed Zghayyer, the head of the cleaning department at Al‑Aqsa Mosque, while he was inside the mosque compound.
The soldiers also abducted a woman whose identity was not immediately known after detaining her inside the mosque.
Earlier in the evening, soldiers had stopped two other women in the courtyards of Al‑Aqsa before taking them to an undisclosed location.
In the nearby town of Beit Duqqu, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, troops invaded the area and abducted two additional Palestinians whose identities were not released.
North of occupied Jerusalem, a young man was shot and injured by Israeli forces in the town of Al‑Ram.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that he was struck with live ammunition in the thigh near the Israeli separation wall and was transported to hospital for treatment.
In Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces chased Palestinian shepherds in the village of Kisan, east of the city. A local source said soldiers forced the shepherds, at gunpoint, to leave their grazing areas inside the village.
In Ramallah in the central West Bank, Israeli forces held dozens of Palestinians for hours at a military roadblock near the village of Al‑Mughayyer, northeast of the city.
The army subjected residents to searches and harsh treatment, preventing them from entering or leaving the village and disrupting their daily movement.
The restrictions were described as part of an ongoing policy of tightening control over Palestinian communities through military roadblocks and closures.
In addition, the army installed a military roadblock at the entrance of Al‑Jalazone refugee camp, north of Al‑Bireh city, stopping and searching many vehicles and interrogating scores of Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
In Nablus in the northern West Bank, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers assaulted a child in the village of Burin, south of the city.
Local sources said a group of colonizers attacked the child, Mahmoud Al‑Zaben, spraying pepper gas in his face while he was near his family home. He was taken for medical treatment. The colonizers had reportedly assaulted his parents several days earlier.
Also in Nablus, a group of colonizers installed a new colonialist outpost on Palestinian farmlands north of Madama village, south of the city.
In Hebron in the southern West Bank, colonizers carried out additional attacks in the Masafer Yatta area.
Media activist Osama Makhamra said colonizers assaulted shepherds and residents in the Al‑Hamra area, injuring several people with bruises.
Israeli forces, who arrived to protect the colonizers, fired tear gas and other chemical agents, causing many residents to suffer from inhalation.
The soldiers then abducted two Palestinians, Khaled Rabah Rib’ey and Rasmi Shreiteh, and detained several others in the Wadi Al‑Rakhim area after colonizers attacked farmers and shepherds there.
These incidents reflect a continued pattern of Israeli military invasions, colonizer violence, and movement restrictions across the occupied West Bank, affecting daily life and heightening tensions in multiple Palestinian communities.
