The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Sunday, December 14, 2025, that hospitals admitted nine Palestinians killed in the preceding 24 hours, including five newly killed and four bodies retrieved from rubble, alongside 45 injuries.
Since the “ceasefire” declared on October 11, 2025, the ministry has documented 391 deaths, 1,063 injuries, and 632 bodies recovered.
The cumulative toll since the beginning of Israel’s assault on October 7, 2023, now stands at 70,663 killed and 171,139 injured.
‼️Thirteen people have been killed by building collapses in Gaza as thousands of homes weakened by the genocide remain at constant risk of falling on their residents, according to warnings issued by local authorities as new storms approach.

Humanitarian Collapse
Civil defense teams report that many victims remain unrecovered, as destroyed infrastructure, fuel shortages, and ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire prevent access to collapsed buildings.

Hospitals continue to operate under extreme strain, lacking essential medicines, equipment, and electricity.
An urgent appeal to save 55-day-old Kinan Ahmad Al-Kahlout, who suffers from severe congenital heart defects and has spent his entire life in the hospital. He urgently needs specialized treatment abroad, unavailable locally, as his life is at risk.

Recent winter storms have compounded the crisis, collapsing tents and shelters where displaced Palestinians live.
At least 14 people died during the storm, including three children from hypothermia. Aid agencies warn of rising risks of hypothermia, respiratory illness, and waterborne disease as flooding overwhelms sanitation systems.
Ceasefire Violations and Regional Escalation
Despite the declared “ceasefire,” Israeli attacks and demolitions persisted across Gaza. On December 13, at least seven Palestinians were killed and more than 40 injured in Israeli strikes and drone attacks, including the targeting of a vehicle in Gaza City that killed five people.
Israel’s warplanes also carried out dozens of raids in southern Lebanon, claiming to target Hezbollah facilities.
International Response
The UN General Assembly recently adopted a resolution demanding Israel allow full humanitarian access into Gaza and comply with international law.
UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese stated that the cost of rebuilding Gaza should be borne not only by Israel but also by its arms suppliers, including the United States, Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom.
Human rights organizations continue to stress that the forced displacement and denial of aid constitute violations of the Fourth Geneva Convention, which prohibits the transfer of protected populations under occupation.

The figures released on December 14 reflect not only the daily human toll but also the systematic destruction of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure.
Each new casualty adds to a cumulative crisis that international agencies describe as catastrophic.
Despite international resolutions, Israel continues to enforce policies that deepen displacement and humanitarian collapse.
