Earlier Friday, the Israeli army continued the bombing and shelling of various parts of the Gaza Strip, mainly in Khan Younis and in central Gaza, killing dozens of Palestinians and wounding hundreds amidst sharply deteriorating humanitarian conditions across the coastal enclave.
In the central Gaza Strip, the army fired missiles and shells at homes and buildings in the Zawaida area, killing three Palestinians, including a child.
The army also killed at least eleven Palestinians from one family and injured many others after firing a missile at a home west of the Nusseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
The Quds News Agency said that the targeted home belonged to a journalist, Eyad Rawagh, who was killed along with eleven members of his family, including his newborn son.

Eyad earlier published an appeal on social media asking for help in transporting his newborn to his mother, who left Gaza a few weeks ago with their injured son, who was moved to a hospital in Sinai in Egypt.
His death brings the officially declared number of Palestinian journalists in Gaza since October 7 to 118.
It is worth mentioning that the Nusseirat refugee camp and several parts of central Gaza have been subject to extensive Israeli bombing and shelling, escalating over the past two days.
In northern Gaza, the army continued its tight siege on the entire area, preventing the delivery of humanitarian aid to hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, facing massive destruction, hunger, and the spread of diseases, while the army continued to target entire residential blocs with missiles and shells.

In Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, the army fired many artillery shells at a neighborhood near the western part of Nasser Hospital, which has been subject to repeated Israeli attacks and bombings, including on Thursday, when artillery shells struck buildings in the facility and its yards. |Read: Day 111: Israeli Missiles, Shells, Kill Dozens, Injure Hundreds In Gaza|

The Israeli army also fired barrages of missiles and shells at homes and buildings in various parts of Khan Younis, causing dozens of casualties, including fatalities.
Dr. Ashraf Al-Qedra, the spokesperson of the Health Ministry in Gaza, said Israel is committing war crimes and genocide by bombing the civilians, starving them, and barring them from access to medical care.

Commenting on the army’s targeting of Palestinian civilians near the Kuwait junction, south of Gaza City, while waiting to receive basic humanitarian supplies, killing and wounding dozens of them, Dr. Al-Qedra stated, “Israel committed a massacre against starving civilians, trying to get some aid to feed their children.”

It is worth mentioning that only a few aid trucks have been allowed into Gaza since December 27, 2023; the UNRWA said only about seven trucks have been allowed daily since the end of the humanitarian truce at the beginning of the month.
The Palestinian Maan News Agency quoted Israeli Channel 12 stating that Hamas presented its conditions for a new prisoner-swap agreement, demanding the release of 100 Palestinian detainees for each Israeli held in Gaza and the full Israeli military withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.
Hamas is also demanding 10-14 days of calm before the release of any Israeli and a calm “ceasefire” for two months between any stage of the potential agreement.
Maan also said that according to Haaretz, an Israeli source involved in the indirect talks, Israel and Hamas have reached a preliminary understanding regarding most of the terms of the prisoner-swap deal, adding that the deal would be implemented in 35 days, during which all Israeli captives would be released from Gaza, and in return, Israel would release Palestinian detainees and allow the entry of humanitarian supplies into the coastal enclave.
Although the report said the number of Palestinian detainees who would be released has been agreed upon, however, the talks are now regarding their identities.
Hamas is trying to ensure the release of senior political leaders, all children and women, the detainees sentenced to very high terms in prison, and those who have been imprisoned for many years. (432 detainees have been in prison for more than 20 years, including 40 who were taken prisoner more than 25 years ago.)

Israeli missiles, shells, and bullets have killed at least 25.700 Palestinians and injured more than 63.740, mostly women and children, in addition to the massive destruction and devastation across the coastal enclave and the resulting famine and diseases, especially after the collapse of the healthcare system and the destruction of hospitals and medical centers after being invaded and bombed.
There are more than 8.000 missing Palestinians, largely killed and buried under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings and on the streets of various areas, as medics and rescue teams remain unable to reach them due to ongoing bombing and siege of targeted areas.
On Thursday, Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor reported that the number of slain Palestinians is 33.360, including 13.022 children, 7.160 women, and 117 journalists.
Among the slain Palestinians are 305 healthcare professionals and medics, and 370 injured, in addition to 41 slain Civil Defense workers and 131 injured.
Euro-Med added that %90 of the slain Palestinians are civilians, including %60 who are women and children.
Euro-Med added that Israel’s attacks displaced 2.000.000 Palestinians and destroyed 75.600 homes, partially damaged 196.700 homes, destroyed or damaged 169 media facilities, 328 schools, 223 healthcare facilities, 199 heritage sites, 3 churches, and 376 mosques.
In the West Bank, the Israeli army and paramilitary colonizers have killed 370 Palestinians, including 99 children, and injured hundreds since October 7, 2023.
