A Palestinian child was killed near the Shifa Hospital in Gaza after an Israeli soldier fired live rounds at her while trying to find a safe place to shelter from the constant bombing.
Dozens of soldiers also invaded the yards of the Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Younis in southern Gaza after days of surrounding it and firing live rounds and shells at it.
I want to send a message to the Muslim Nation, to the Arab nation, those children, an 18-month-old and a three-month-old, what did they do?!, what did they do?!! I want to send a message to Blinken, what did they do, what did those children do...”
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said the army invaded the yards of its Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Younis before the soldiers invaded the medical facility itself and demanded all families taking shelter there, the patients, and the staff to evacuate.

How is it possible that an immediate ceasefire was not included among the provisional measures prescribed by the court, despite the court’s power to impose such measures in circumstances as brutal and intolerable as those… pic.twitter.com/0lwol2H5xC— Shaima Abu Baker (@ShaimaAbubaker) January 30, 2024
The invasion occurred after the army demolished the outer wall surrounding the medical center and fired shells and smoke bombs at the families, the main entrances, and the gates of Al-Amal and the PRCS headquarters, killing a woman and wounding many Palestinians.
The relief coordinator of the PRCS, Saleem Abu Ras, said the Israeli tanks advanced into the yard of its Al-Amal Hospital before ordering the immediate evacuation of hundreds of Palestinians sheltering there.
Al-Jazeera English said the Israeli army burnt tents used by the displaced Palestinian families in the hospital’s backyard.
This shattered my heart into a million pieces. This cannot be real. This sheer level of evil unleashed in Gaza cannot be real. These innocent children orphaned and robbed of their childhood cannot be real. Humanity has failed beyond redemption. pic.twitter.com/CTx3Ly6blh

In addition, the army fired a shell at a home near Nasser Medical Center in Khan Younis, killing and wounding many Palestinians, and also killed one woman and injured several members of her family after firing a missile at their home near Sheikh Jaber school, in Khan Younis refugee camp.
Al-Jazeera also said the Palestinians held a mass burial for dozens of residents who were returned by the army and added, “A proper burial wasn’t possible for those killed because their bodies couldn’t be identified.”
According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, the Israeli army has killed 26.751 Palestinians and injured more than 65.636, largely women and children, since October 7, 2023, in addition to more than 8.000 who remain buried under the rubble, or their corpses are on streets and lands across the Gaza Strip due to constant bombing and massive destruction of infrastructure.
