During the past 24 hours, 13 massacres were committed by the Israeli occupation forces in Gaza. 127 people have been killed, with 205 injured. Deceased bodies in body bags remain on the street, as there is nowhere to put them with morgues full and hospitals out of commission.

The main hospital in southern Gaza, Nasser Hospital, is now completely offline and unable to operate following a week-long Israeli siege in which at least 5 patients were killed, doctors abducted, and the entire hospital evacuated for a claimed ‘rescue mission of hostages’. That mission was a failure, as there were no Israeli hostages there, only thousands of desperate patients in need of treatment and medical workers. With Nasser Hospital offline, there is nowhere for these patients to go.

Feb 18, 2024 at 12:20

On Sunday, Day 135 of the continued Israeli bombing and genocide of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, the army fired dozens of missiles and shells by land, air, and sea, causing dozens of deaths and injuries.

At least 40 Palestinians were killed and dozens were injured, many seriously, when the army fired missiles and shells at homes in the central Gaza Strip, especially in Deir Al-Balah, Zawaida, and the Nusseirat refugee camp.

In Rafah, in southern Gaza, the army bombarded at least nine homes in the city, killing thirteen Palestinians, and wounding dozens.

The Israeli Navy fired missiles at several homes and buildings near the shores of Rafah, the northern and eastern parts of city, in the southern part of the costal region.

In Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, the army fired missiles and hells at homes in several parts of the city, killing twenty and wounding many others.

In Gaza City, the army fired many missiles and shells at homes in Sheikh Radwan, Nasr, Zeitoun, Rimal, and Sabra, killing at least ten Palestinians and wounding many.

On Saturday evening, the Palestinian Health Ministry said the army killed ten Palestinians, including women and children, in a home in Deir Al-Balah and an area In Rafah.

The army also fired barrages of missiles and shells at many homes and buildings in Beit Hanoun, in northern Gaza, in addition to Sikka Street, and the eastern parts of the Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City.

Seven Palestinians, including three children and one woman, were killed when the army fired a missile at land in the Khirbat Al-Adas area, north of Rafah, where dozens of families tried to shelter after fleeing their homes in several parts of the coastal enclave.

It is worth mentioning that the Israeli army continued the siege on the Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Younis for the 27th consecutive day, after it bombarded its third floor, causing serious damage.

The army also continued the firing of missiles and shells at areas around the medical center, including its surrounding walls and yards.

In addition, the army recently abducted seven Palestinian Red Crescent medics and nine doctors, along with many Palestinians when the soldiers stormed Al-Amal.

Dozens of Palestinians, including patients and families sheltered at the medical facility, have been killed and injured since the army began its siege, while the Israeli tanks have been constantly deployed in front of the hospital for more than two weeks.

The army, similar to the situation at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis and several medical centers across the Gaza Strip, has been preventing the entry of humanitarian and medical supplies and is repeatedly firing live rounds at the hospital, causing several casualties.

All forms of communications have been severed due to the Israeli bombing in Khan Younis; the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said the army abducted seven of its medics about nine days ago, and added that there has been no internet in Khan Younis and no cell communications for the last 24 days.

On Saturday, 82 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured by Israeli forces in attacks on Gaza City, Khan Younis and Rafah. In addition, Israeli troops attacked the third floor of Al-Amal Hospital, after besieging the hospital for the past several weeks.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said Israel has now killed at least 28.858 Palestinians, and injured more than 68.677, mostly women and children, in several parts of the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
