More than 29,195 Palestinians have been killed since 7 October, said Gaza’s Health Ministry on Tuesday. At least 103 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli strikes across Gaza in the past 24 hours and 142 were wounded.
The ministry said that more than 69,170 others have been wounded since Israel launched its brutal campaign in the besieged Strip.
Among those killed Tuesday was Professor Nasser Abu al-Nour, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike along with his wife Majda, their only son, their 4 daughters Nour, Amal, Mona, Ayat, and one of their granddaughters, Kanzi. He was a professor in the nursing faculty of the Islamic University of Gaza. Israeli forces have killed 251 professors and teachers over the past 137 days (more detail below).
There has been a sharp escalation in the drivers of malnutrition, food insecurity; lack of diet diversity; deteriorating infant and young child feeding practices; lack of access to safe water and sanitation; widespread disease; and a collapsed health system in Gaza according to a report by Global Nutrition Cluster (GNC).

- UN experts on Monday decried reports of rape and sexual assault of Palestinian women and girls held in Israeli detention.
- The World Health Organization (WHO) said it has completed a second evacuation mission from Gaza’s Nasser hospital, transferring a total of 32 critical patients including children. The hospital has faced a near total siege at the hands of the Israeli army and effectively stopped functioning following Israeli raids. Efforts to transfer the remaining patients are ongoing, the global health agency said.”WHO fears for the safety and well-being of the patients and health workers remaining in the hospital and warns that further disruption to lifesaving care for the sick and injured would lead to more deaths,” the WHO said on social media site X.
- The UN has announced the suspension of food aid in northern Gaza, after warning that the region is plagued by “chaos and violence”.
- Qatar’s foreign ministry spokesperson announced that Hamas has acknowledged receiving a medical supplies shipment as part of an agreement facilitated by Qatar.
On Tuesday evening, the invading Israeli army acknowledged more losses, announcing that 46 officers and soldiers were injured in battles in the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours.

Day 137: “Israeli Army Kills Dozens, Mostly Children And Women, In Gaza”

On Tuesday, Day 137 of the ongoing Israeli onslaught and genocide of the Palestinians in the devastated and destroyed Gaza Strip, Israeli missiles and shells killed dozens of Palestinians and injured many more, largely women and children.
A large number of Palestinians were killed and injured when the army fired many missiles and artillery shells, in addition to live rounds from drones, at Palestinians in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
After the massive attack, Israeli tanks invaded the Zeitoun neighborhood from the Tal Al-Hawa area, west of Gaza City, and from Salahuddin Junction, south of the city, before stationing themselves at Junction 8 of the Salahuddin Street, while the army continued to fire missiles, artillery and tanks shells at many homes and buildings.
Medical sources said at least fifteen Palestinians were killed and dozens were injured, and added that the number of casualties is much higher due to the intensity of the bombing, while Palestinian medics and rescue teams have been unable to enter many of the bombarded areas.
The Israeli army also used its Quadcopter drones to fire live rounds at Palestinians trying to flee bombarded areas, especially since thousands of Palestinians were forced to leave the invaded Zeitoun neighborhood are trying to seek safer areas in the western parts of the city, mainly the Shifa Hospital and the nearby Rimal neighborhood, which were both previously repeatedly bombarded and invaded.
Israeli navy ships also fired many missiles at the shores of Gaza City, while the army fired artillery shells at the Sha’af area, east of the Sheja’eyya neighborhood.
In Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the army fired many missiles and shells at several neighborhoods, killing at least six Palestinians and wounding fifteen, while the number of casualties could be higher due to ongoing assaults.
The Israeli army also continued its violations against Nasser Hospital and Al-Amal Hospital, west of Khan Younis, while the patients, families, and staff remained isolated in the medical centers which were also frequently targeted, and remained lacking food, water, and medical supplies.
The army also fired many shells at homes and buildings in the center and the western parts of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, causing many casualties.
In central Gaza, the army fired missiles and shells at many homes in the Nusseirat, Al-Maghazi, and Al-Boreij refugee camps, killing at least four Palestinians and wounding ten, who were moved to Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al-Balah.
In addition, the army fired many live rounds at Palestinians in northern Gaza, killing one, while trying to reach aid trucks after allowing only 800 sacks of wheat for the more than 600.000 displaced residents.
The aid trucks were the only ones to reach northern Gaza since Israel began its onslaught on Gaza four months earlier.
On its part, the Israeli army said one of its soldiers, who was seriously injured in southern Gaza on February 15, succumbed to his wounds, Sunday, in addition to twenty soldiers injured in Gaza over the last two days, and added that the number of soldiers who were killed by Palestinian fighters is 575, since October 7, 2023, including 243 soldiers killed since Israeli launched the ground offensive on October 27, 2023.
The Palestinian Education Ministry said Israeli soldiers have killed 5260 students, and injured more than 8986, in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip (mostly in Gaza) since October 7, 2023, and abducted 94 students.
It added that the army killed 251 teachers and school administrators, injured more than 846 in the Gaza Strip, and abducted more than 73 in the West Bank.
The ministry also said that the 620.000 students in the Gaza Strip have not attended school since Israel began its onslaught on Gaza.
The Israeli army bombarded 286 government-run schools and 65 UNRWA-run schools, destroying 80, and causing serious damage to 111, and 113 government-run schools that are used as make-shift shelters for dozens of thousands of Palestinian families in Gaza. In the West Bank, the army invaded 57 schools.
Israel has now killed at least 29.093 Palestinians, including about 20.000 women and children, 200 journalists, and 339 medical staff and medics, and injured at least 68.883, in several parts of the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023. At least 8000 Palestinians, including 4700 women and children, remain missing, largely buried under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings.
In the West Bank, Israeli soldiers and paramilitary colonizers have killed at least 299 Palestinians, including many children, since October 7, 2023.
