Many Palestinians were injured, some seriously, when the army fired a missile at a home in the Al-Matahen area, south of Deir Al-Balah, in central Gaza.
Israeli soldiers also killed at least one Palestinian and injured more than nine, after firing live rounds at them while waiting for aid trucks near the Kuwaiti junction, south of Gaza City.
Furthermore, the army killed four Palestinians and injured more than twenty while also awaiting aid trucks at the Nabulsi Junction, west of Gaza City.
In addition, sources at the Shifa Medical Center in Gaza said one child, Marah Talal Yaziji, 15, and an elderly man, 72, died at the hospital due to dehydration and malnutrition.
Medical sources said the number of Palestinians, including children and babies, who died from malnutrition and dehydration in hospitals in the devastated and destroyed Gaza Strip is now twenty.
They added that the numbers are only for those who died at hospitals and medical facilities since dozens of Palestinians have already died due to the same causes without making it to hospitals due to the ongoing Israeli bombings and the siege of hospitals.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said famine in Gaza has reached very dangerous levels and could claim the lives of thousands of Palestinians, mainly children, babies, and pregnant women, if sufficient amounts of humanitarian aid are not allowed into the Gaza Strip, especially in the northern parts of the coastal enclave.
On its part, the Israeli army has confirmed the death of one soldier and the injury of thirteen, six seriously, during gun battles with Palestinian resistance fighters in southern Gaza.
Israel has now killed at least 30.717 Palestinians and injured more than 72.156, including thousands of women and children, abducted more than 4.000 Palestinians, and displaced 2 million, in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
The numbers of slain Palestinians do not include those buried under the rubble, on streets, and in alleys, and their bodies have not been found, in various parts of the Gaza Strip.
According to Euro-Med Human Rights Monitors, as of March 5, the total number of slain Palestinians is 39.178, including 14.622 children, 8.896 women, 132 journalists, 325 healthcare workers, and 42 Civil Defense workers. (The numbers include those under the rubble)
