Before dawn on Monday, day 157 of the Israeli military assault on the Gaza Strip, Israeli warplanes bombed Palestinian civilians in various parts of the Gaza Strip.
Monday marks the first day of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, and displaced Palestinian families did their best to have at least some festivities for the children despite the horrors they are living through right now.

The Wafa news agency reported that a number of Palestinians were killed and others were injured in the bombing of a house in the Zaytoun neighborhood.
An unknown number of Palestinians were killed and others injured in a similar bombing that targeted a house east of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
An Israeli artillery bombardment targeted east of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
In the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City, a number of Palestinians were injured by the bombing of a number of homes.

The Israeli occupation forces bombed agricultural land near the Egyptian-Palestinian border, in the Al-Salam neighborhood in Rafah, while the Israeli occupation aircraft launched raids west of Gaza City, a house in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, and several houses in the Beach camp west of Gaza City.
On Sunday evening, ambulance crews recovered the bodies of 10 deceased Palestinians, including children and women. They were identified as Ibrahim Ashour and his family, including his wife and children, near the Al-Dahdouh roundabout in the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City.
