On Tuesday, Day 172 of the Gaza Genocide, the Israeli army continued its bombing and shelling of various parts of the densely populated and devastated Gaza Strip, killing dozens of Palestinians, including children and women, and wounding hundreds.

Despite the United Nations Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, Israel intensified its bombings against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, while several Israeli leaders expressed “disappointment” that the United States did not oppose the said resolution.

Media sources said the army fired barrages of missiles and shells at the Rimal neighborhood, the Shati’ refugee camp, and Tal Al-Hawa, in Gaza City, various areas in Rafah, in the southmost Gaza Strip, in addition to areas in the center and the western parts of Khan Younis, in southern part of the destroyed coastal enclave.

The sources added that the Israeli missiles and shells also struck many homes and buildings in Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza.

According to the Palestine News Network, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) announced today that the Society’s Al-Amal Hospital in the city of Khan Yunis has gone completely out of service after the occupation forces forced the hospital’s crews and the wounded to evacuate it and closed its entrances with dirt barriers.

Israeli occupation forces besieged the Al-Amal Hospital two days ago amid violent shelling and heavy gunfire, killing a civilian and a PRCS team member.

The PRCS added that the occupation forces opened fire at two medical crews while they were removing rubble to pave the way for vehicles to enable them to evacuate the killed and injured, which led to the injury of one staff member, while the fate of the other member remained unknown.

The PRCS expressed its profound regret for the closure of Al-Amal Hospital following the international community’s failure to provide the necessary protection for its teams, patients and the displaced people. It affirmed that the hospital was besieged for over 40 days and was repeatedly bombed before the occupation forces reinstated the siege and forced everyone inside to leave. The hospital suffered the same fate as the PRCS’s Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza City, which was taken out of service several months ago,

The Israeli army continued its invasions, destruction, and violations in the Shifa Medical Center, in Gaza City, for the ninth day, and assaulted many Palestinians, including patients and medical staff.

Explosions could be heard in several buildings and areas inside the medical facility and around it.

The army fired barrages of missiles and shells at home in the Al-Mighraqa village, south of Gaza City, killing at least seven Palestinians and wounding dozens.

Al-Jazeera said the Israeli soldiers continued the wiring and detonating of Palestinian homes and buildings and burning many more, around the Shifa Medical Center, and added that Palestinian fighters also exchanged fire with the soldiers around the medical facility.

Al-Jazeera added that many Palestinians were killed and said that the medics were unable to leave the medical facility to render aid as the army and its drones continued to fire bullets and missiles at anyone they saw outside.

Al-Jazeera English published a video interview with a Palestinian teenage boy who said he escaped field execution-style killings carried out by Israeli soldiers in Shifa Hospital.

At least seven Palestinians were killed, and five remained missing while trying to retrieve humanitarian aid that was airdropped but landed in the water.

Also, many Palestinians, including children, were killed and injured when the army fired a missile at a home for the Sheikha family, west of Gaza City.

The army fired barrages of shells and missiles at various parts of northern Gaza, especially in Jabalia, Beit Hanoun, and Beit Lahia, striking many homes and buildings, and killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians, including children and women.

The army also fired missiles at homes and buildings in Deir Al-Balah, Al-Maghazi, and several surrounding areas, in central Gaza, causing many casualties.

The Israeli army killed at least two Palestinians and injured many others while trying to ensure the delivery of aid to the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

In Rafah, in the southmost part of the Gaza Strip, the Israeli Air Force fired many missiles at homes and buildings, killing at least eighteen Palestinians, including nine children, in one home.

The slain Palestinians, who were displaced from other parts of the Gaza Strip, sheltered in the bombarded home in the Mosbeh area, north of Rafah.

Dozens of casualties were also reported when the army fired a missile at a home in the Abu Al-Haseen area in Rafah’s Naser neighborhood.

In Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the army invaded the Al-Amal Hospital of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society ({PRCS} and forced the families, patients, and medical staff out of the facility, before ordering them to head to Al-Mawasi area.

Medical sources said medics recovered the corpses of fifteen Palestinians who were killed by Israeli missiles and shells in several parts of Khan Younis.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said on Monday evening, that the Al-Amal Hospital it runs in Khan Younis, is now out of service after the army repeatedly attacked it before invading it and forcing all staff and patients out of the medical facility.

The Israeli military bulldozers also installed sand hills at all the entrances and gates of the hospital.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said the Israeli army committed massacres against entire families, killing 107 Palestinians and wounding 176, including many women and children, in the last twenty-four hours.

Israel has now killed more than 32.333 Palestinians and injured at least 74.694, mostly children, women, and elderly, in various parts of the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
