On Tuesday, Day 179 of the ongoing Israeli genocide of the Palestinians in the devastated Gaza Strip, Israeli missiles and shells struck various parts of the destroyed and besieged coastal enclave, killing dozens of Palestinians, including children, and wounding many more.
In Rafah, in the southmost part of the Gaza Strip, Palestinian medics located the corpses of six Palestinians and rescued several residents from the rubble of a home for the Zo’rob family, after the army fired a missile at it.
Medical sources said the medics and Civil Defense teams moved the slain and wounded Palestinians to Abu Yousef Najjar Hospital in Rafah, after locating them under the rubble.
In Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the army fired barrages of missiles and shells at homes and buildings in the eastern area of the city and its center, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians.
In Deir Al-Balah, in central Gaza, the army fired a missile at the Al-Bashir Mosque in the center of the city, killing many Palestinians, including children, and causing damage to surrounding homes.
Also, the army killed at least two Palestinians and injured many others, including children, after firing a missile at a home they sheltered in, in the eastern part of the city.
The Israeli army also fired many artillery shells at homes and buildings in Al-Mighraqa, Wadi Gaza, and the northern area of the Nusseirat refugee camp, causing many casualties.
In Gaza City, the army fired artillery shells and missiles at the Tal Al-Hawa and the Sheikh Ejleen areas, killing at least three and wounding six, before they were moved to the Baptist Hospital.
It is worth mentioning that, after the army withdrew from the Shifa Medical Center in Gaza, and its surrounding areas, the Palestinians found the corpses of about 400 slain residents, including many who were executed while handcuffed.
In related news, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese summoned the Israeli ambassador to the country following the deadly Israeli attack on a clearly marked car for international aid workers with the World Central Kitchen, in a disarmed zone in Gaza; one of the slain humanitarian workers is an Australian woman.
World Central Kitchen said its teams were driving in clearly marked cars in a disarmed zone, after coordinating with the Israeli army, and were bombed after delivering 100 tons of humanitarian aid.
Israel has now killed at least 32.845 Palestinians, and injured more than 75.392, mostly women and children, in addition to the thousands of missing Palestinians, largely buried under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings, in the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023.
