On Saturday, day 183 of the ongoing Israeli massacre in Gaza, a number of Palestinians were killed and others were injured in rocket and artillery shelling by the Israeli occupation forces, on Palestinian homes in different areas of the Gaza Strip.

A correspondent with the Palestinian Wafa news agency reported that the Israeli occupation forces targeted with artillery the homes of citizens in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, Al-Sabra neighborhood in the middle, and Tal Al-Hawa and Sheikh Ajlin neighborhoods, southwest of the city, killing three citizens and wounding about 10 others, who were transferred to Al-Baptist Hospital in the city.

According to local sources, the Israeli occupation forces targeted with artillery Sikka Street, east of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, causing an unknown number of casualties.

Israeli soldiers fired artillery shells Palestinian homes in Al-Mughraqa, Al-Zahra and the northern outskirts of Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, causing injuries among Palestinian civilians, who were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah city in the central Gaza Strip.

The largest hospital in Gaza, the al-Shifa Hospital, was destroyed and burned, along with hundreds of patients and medical personnel over a two-week long siege by the Israeli military which ended with their withdrawal on Monday.

Also on Saturday before dawn, Israeli artillery shelled Palestinian property in the town of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip.

Israeli occupying forces fired several shells at the south-western neighbourhoods of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, along with raids by Israeli warplanes on the centre and west of the city.

The Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since the seventh of last October, by land, sea and air, which led to the death of 33,091 citizens, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of more than 75,750.
