On Wednesday, Day 201 of the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people in the destroyed Gaza Strip, Israeli missiles and shells killed dozens of Palestinians and injured many more, in various parts of the coastal region.
The army bombarded various parts of Beit Lahia, in northwestern Gaza, causing many casualties, and demanded the families to go to Jabalia refugee camp, and Gaza City, after more than 50.000 Palestinians returned to Beit Lahia.
The Israeli Air Force also fired many missiles at Jabalia, destroying many homes and killing at least three Palestinians, in addition to wounding dozens.
Furthermore, the Israeli army fired missiles and shells at homes in Salam Square, east of Jabalia, causing many casualties.
In Gaza City, at least two Palestinians were killed and dozens injured when the army fired a missile at a home for the Eshteiwi family in the Zeitoun neighborhood, while many Palestinians were injured by an Israeli missile fired from a drone into the Sheja’eyya neighborhood.

In central Gaza, Israel’s missile killed at least four Palestinians and wounded many others near Hyper Mall in Nusseirat refugee camp, while many Palestinians were injured by a missile from a drone in the Zawaida town.
Casualties were also reported when the army fired missiles at areas, east of the Al-Boreij refugee camp, in central Gaza.
In Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian Civil Defense said its teams located the corpses of 51 Palestinians, including many children and women, in the rubble of the bombarded branches and buildings of Nasser Medical Center.
The Civil Defense stated that only 30 of the slain Palestinians have been identified, and added that, so far, the number of slain Palestinians in and around the medical facility is 324.
Also, rescue teams found the corpses of nine Palestinians in several parts of Khan Younis, while many remain under the rubble.
In Rafah, in Gaza’s southmost part, the army fired a shell at a home, in the eastern part of the city, killing three Palestinians from the Bahaisa family, and wounding many others.
The Israeli army said it preparing for a massive ground invasion of Rafah “very soon,” and added that the invasion includes removing large numbers of Palestinians from the area.
Abu Obeida, the spokesperson of the Al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas, said “Israel found itself sinking in the mud of The Gaza Strip,” and added that “the only ‘achievement’ its army made was the massacres of the civilians, and the mass destruction of property.”
Abu Obeida added that Al-Qassam and other resistance groups in Gaza are still strong and will remain steadfast in resisting the occupation.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said the army committed three massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, killing 32 Palestinians and wounding 59, mostly women and children, in less than 24 hours.
The Health Ministry added that Israel has now killed at least 34.183 Palestinians, including at least 14.000 children, and injured more than 77.143, mostly women and children, in several parts of the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023.
EuroMed Human Rights Monitor has reported that the total number of slain Palestinians (October 7, 2023 – April 23, 2024) is 42.510, including 15.780 children and 10.091 women, and 137 journalists.
Also among the slain Palestinians are 356 healthcare professionals, 549 injured, 42 slain civil defense workers and 161 injured, while Israel’s missiles and shells also damaged 29 hospitals, 72 clinics, and 221 ambulances. The Israeli missiles also destroyed 203 heritage sites.
It added that Israel has displaced 2.000.000 Palestinians of Gaza’s 2.2 million Palestinians, destroyed 131.200 homes, damaged 281.000 homes, destroyed and damage 178 press centers, damaged 445 schools, destroyed 2.271 industrial facilities, in addition to damaging 651 mosque and 3 churches.
