Israeli airstrikes continued throughout the day on Tuesday, day 207 of Israel’s attack on the people of Gaza. killing dozens of Palestinians and injuring many more. Israeli airstrikes hit a number of Palestinian homes, mainly in Deir al-Balah and in Rafah.

A number of family members, including children, were brought into the bombing of the Abu Sha’ar family’s home in Rafah city.

The Israeli warplanes bombed the home of the Azaiza family in Deir Al Balah, central Gaza.

 

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged Tuesday to launch an incursion into the southern Gaza city of Rafah, where an estimated one and a half million Palestinians are sheltering after having lost their homes in northern, central, western and eastern Gaza due to Israeli bombardment.

Netanyahu said the Israeli military would enter Rafah whether or not a truce-for-hostages deal was struck.

Two children were killed and others were injured on Tuesday evening in the Israeli occupation warplane’s bombing of a house in Al-Shaboura camp in the center of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.

A correspondent with the Palestinian Wafa news agency reported the death of the child Karim Amer Jarada and his sister Mona, and the injury of a number of civilians in an Israeli shelling that targeted a house in the Shaboura camp, noting that the bodies of the two children and the injured civilians were transferred to Kuwait Specialized Hospital in Rafah.

In the late night hours on Tuesday, Israeli warplanes launched a series of raids on areas east and north of Rafah.

According to medical sources, three civilians, including a child, were killed and others were wounded in the Israeli warplanes’ bombardment of a residential apartment in Nuseirat in the central Gaza Strip. Israeli warplanes also bombed a house in Deir al-Balah and blew up residential blocks in Al-Mughraqa, in the central Gaza Strip.

In a related context, ambulance and rescue crews recovered the bodies of 9 deceased Palestinians from Khan Yunis camp in the southern Gaza Strip, and search and recovery operations are still continuing in the camp.

According to the latest data, more than 10,000 citizens are still missing in the Gaza Strip since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, most of them are believed to have been killed, with their bodies remaining under the rubble and ambulance and rescue crews unable to reach them.

Three civilians were injured after Israeli artillery shelled Al-Mansoura Street, east of Al-Shujaiya neighborhood in Gaza, in conjunction with Israeli air raids on Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in the city and on the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.

In an inconclusive and ever-increasing toll, the number of Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the Israeli aggression reached 34,535, the majority of whom were children and women, in addition to 77,704 wounded. Of the Israelis killed, 1100 were killed on October 7th, including 800 civilians, 35 of whom were children. 7 civilians were killed and others were injured before dawn on Tuesday, in the Israeli occupation bombing of different areas of the Gaza Strip.

A correspondent with the Wafa news agency reported that the Israeli warplanes carried out a series of raids in the northern and western area of Nuseirat camp, which led to the death of 4 civilians, and the injury of about 15 others, and the Israeli occupation artillery shelled with several shells the homes of civilians in Al-Bureij and Al-Maghazi camps in the central Gaza Strip.

In Gaza City, Israeli warplanes launched 3 raids on Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, killing 3 civilians and wounding 10 others.

Israeli artillery stationed on the Martyrs’ Axis continued to shell the neighborhoods of Tal al-Hawa, Sheikh Ajleen and al-Zaytoun, coinciding with the firing of shells by gunboats towards the fishermen’s port west of the city.

Israeli warplanes also launched raids on the town and Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, wounding 7 civilians, including 3 children, while Israeli artillery targeted the Sheikh Zayed Towers area in Beit Lahia with missiles.

In the city of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, Israeli artillery fired several shells towards the homes of citizens in the eastern area of the city center, while ambulance and rescue crews recovered the decomposing bodies of 6 martyrs in Al-Amal neighborhood, west of the city, while search operations are still underway to recover bodies from under the rubble.

In the morning, ambulance and rescue crews were able to recover the bodies of 24 civilians, including children and women, who were killed Monday when the Israeli occupation warplanes targeted the homes of civilians in different areas of the city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.

In an ongoing and ever-growing toll, the death toll since the start of the aggression on the Gaza Strip, on the seventh of last October, has risen to more than 34,488 martyrs, the majority of whom are children and women, 77,643 injuries, and thousands of victims are still under the rubble and in the roads, as the occupation prevents ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.
