On Wednesday, Day 222 of the ongoing genocide of the Palestinians in the destroyed Gaza Strip, a number of Palestinian civilians were killed and injured at dawn and Wednesday morning, in a series of raids launched by Israeli warplanes on several areas in the Gaza Strip.

Medical sources said at dawn on Wednesday that electricity generators stopped working at the European Gaza Hospital in the city of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.

The sources pointed out that the electricity generators at the European Gaza Hospital, one of the few remaining hospitals operating in the Gaza Strip, stopped working as a result of running out of fuel, threatening the lives of hundreds of wounded and sick people and inside it.

This comes at a time when the Israeli occupation artillery continues its intensive shelling on the neighborhoods of Al-Salam and Al-Geneina, east of Rafah, and in the vicinity of Tal Al-Zaatar in Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

A correspondent with the Palestinian Wafa news agency reported that 10 displaced civilians were killed in an Israeli shelling on a clinic belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

Four civilians were killed, and others were wounded when an Israeli warplane bombed a house belonging to the Abu al-Hasani family in the town of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip, and they were transferred to Kamal Adwan Hospital in Jabalya refugee camp.

Five civilians, including a child, were killed by an Israeli missile strike targeting a house belonging to the Barash family in the vicinity of the club in Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, and they were transferred to Al-Awda Hospital in the nearby Nuseirat camp.

The neighborhoods of Al-Zaytoun, Al-Sabra and Al-Rimal in Gaza City witnessed intensive aerial and artillery bombardment by the Israeli occupation, which resulted in the injury of a number of citizens.

Our correspondent reported renewed heavy artillery shelling on the Maslaba area and the vicinity of Street 8 in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, which resulted in 7 injuries who arrived at the Baptist Hospital in the city.

Israeli warplanes also targeted the Old Gaza Street in the northern Gaza Strip town of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip.

The neighborhoods of Al-Salam, El Geneina and Brazil, east of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, witnessed artillery shelling that caused extensive destruction to citizens’ homes and properties.

In an ongoing and continually increasing count, the number of Palestinians Israel has killed since the beginning of the aggression on the Gaza Strip reached 35,173, the majority of them children and women, in addition to the injury of 79,061 citizens, and thousands of victims are still under the rubble.
