On Thursday, Day 272 of the ongoing Israeli genocide of the Palestinians in the besieged, destroyed, and starved Gaza Strip, the Israeli army continued the bombing of various parts of the coastal enclave, killing and wounding dozens, including women and children.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said in a statement that the army killed 45 Palestinians, and injured 125, including many women and children, in several parts of the coastal enclave.

Thousands of Palestinians continued to flee the heavily bombarded eastern areas of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, heading towards the western area of the city, after the army ordered their evacuation.


Palestinian armed resistance groups also continued to exchange fire with the Israeli soldiers; the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, said its fighters destroyed two Israeli tanks in Rafah, in Gaza’s southmost part, and fired mortars at soldiers in Gaza City’s Sheja’eyya neighborhood, while the Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, said its fighters destroyed an Israeli tank and an armored military bulldozer in Rafah, in addition to firing mortars at soldiers and their vehicles in Sheja’eyya, in Gaza City.

On its part, the Israeli army announced 23 soldiers were injured in Gaza over the last 24 hours in the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli army fired missiles at shells at several parts of Gaza City and struck a home near the Yaffa School in the Daraj neighborhood, in the eastern part of the city, killing three Palestinians and wounding thirteen, including children and women.

Also, medical sources said at least one Palestinian was killed and three were injured when the army fired artillery shells at the Shaaf Street in Sheja’eyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

In addition, Al-Jazeera Journalist Hind Khodari said the Palestinians in Sheja’eyya neighborhood have been trapped for many days without food or water, due to the ongoing Israeli bombing and invasion.

The sources added that four Palestinians were killed and eight were injured when the army fired a missile at an apartment in the Al-Mashahra area on Nafaq Street in Gaza City’s Tuffah neighborhood.

It is worth mentioning that the army continued the wiring and detonation of homes and buildings in Sheja’eyya.

Casualties were also reported after the army fired many artillery shells and missiles at the northwestern area of the Nusseirat refugee camp, and Deir Al-Balah city, in central Gaza.

Furthermore, the army fired missiles and shells at the Yibna refugee camp, and the Al-Awda Junction area in Rafah, causing many casualties.

Israel has now killed at least 37.953 Palestinians and injured more than 87.266, mostly children, women, and elderly, in several parts of the Gaza Strip, in addition to the thousands of missing Palestinians, largely under the rubble, on destroyed streets and alleys, in various parts of the devastated coastal enclave since October 7, 2023.
