On Thursday, Day 272 of the Israeli genocide of the Palestinians in the destroyed Gaza Strip, the Israeli army continued the bombing and shelling of various parts of the coastal enclave, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians, including many children and women.

In northern Gaza, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said its medics located the corpse of one slain Palestinian, and evacuated three wounded residents to the Indonesian Hospital, after the army fired a missile at the Sikka Street, east of the Jabalia refugee camp.

Also, medical sources said the army fired a missile at a home near a market in the center of Gaza City, killing four Palestinians and wounding many who were all rushed to the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital.

In the Daraj neighborhood in Gaza City, the army fired a missile at a home, killing at least two Palestinians and wounding more than six.

Palestinian medics and residents also found the corpses of two Palestinians under the rubble of a home for the Ar-Reefy family that the army bombarded earlier in the day in the Daraj neighborhood.

In addition, the army destroyed the historic gold market, one of the last remaining prominent landmarks in Gaza, after firing many missiles at it.

Also, PRCS medics retrieved the bodies of two Palestinian children and evacuated two wounded residents, including children and women, after the army fired a missile at a house on Yaffa Street, in Gaza City.

In addition, medical sources said at least four Palestinians were killed and many were injured, when the Israeli army fired a missile at a home in the Nusseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza.

In Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the army fired artillery shells at the Sheikh Nasser area, in the eastern part of the city, killing two Palestinians and injuring several others.

In Rafah, in the coastal region’s southmost part, the army fired missiles at the Al-Mawasi area, in the western part of the city, killing at least two and wounding many others.

In related news, Rami Abdu, Assist. Prof of Law & Finance, and Chairman of EuroMed Human Rights Monitor (@EuroMedHR) said on X that a recently released Palestinian detainee, Rami Abu Mustafa, has died due to due to complications from torture and injuries to his head and abdomen, which caused him to lose his sight and led to the removal of part of his intestines during his captivity by Israel.

It is worth mentioning that the army bombarded the home of Refat Al-Areer’s cousin, Ramzi, killing him, his wife Ramah and their children, Mohammad and Muslima, and his niece Rimas.

Israel has now killed at least 38.011 Palestinians and injured more than 87.445, mostly children, women, and elderly, in several parts of the Gaza Strip, in addition to the thousands of missing Palestinians, largely under the rubble, on destroyed streets and alleys, in various parts of the devastated coastal enclave since October 7, 2023.
