On Wednesday, Day 320 of the ongoing genocide of the Palestinians in the destroyed, besieged, and devastated coastal enslave, the Israeli army bombarded various parts of the Gaza Strip, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians, among them more than fifty slain Palestinians and 124 injured who were moved to medical centers, and many remain under the rubble.

In Jabalia, in northern Gaza, the army fired missiles and shells at residential areas in Tal Az-Za’tar, including a home where more about 60 to 70 Palestinians, mostly children, and women, sheltered and were sleeping, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians, largely children and women.

The building, owned by the Halawa family, was struck twice, causing excessive damage to it and the surrounding homes, killing and wounding dozens, in addition to burying many under the rubble, while rescue teams and the locals continued to search under the rubble, hoping to find survivors.

At least twenty-five citizens were killed, Wednesday afternoon, in a series of bombings carried out by Israeli war jets on homes, a school, and tents sheltering displaced people in the central and southern Gaza Strip.

Medical and local sources said that the Israeli Air Force renewed its bombing of Salahuddin School on al-Jalaa’ Street in Gaza City, causing many casualties, among them children and women.

The army also carried out a series of airstrikes on the eastern areas of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of at least 21 people.

A Palestinian was also killed by the bombing of a house in the Customs Office area east of Khan Younis, while medics, rescue teams, and citizens transferred 13 dead to Nasser Hospital as a result of the bombing of these areas.

Additionally, two children and five women were killed when the army bombed tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in the town of Bani Soheila east of Khan Younis, and several citizens were killed in another Israeli bombing of a tent in the Zanna area east of Khan Younis.

The United Nations reported that the population density in the ‘Al-Mawasi’ area in the Gaza Strip has reached 30,000 people per square kilometer due to the influx of displaced persons.

Al-Mawasi stretches along the coasts of Deir al-Balah, Khan Younis, and Rafah, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, and suffers from a lack of infrastructure and limited capacity for urban expansion.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) stated in a report that many Palestinians find refuge in parts of Al-Mawasi in the central Gaza Strip, where ‘ongoing military operations’ and repeated evacuation orders have repeatedly displaced families.

It was noted that currently, every 30,000 people are living in one square kilometer in the Al-Mawasi area, compared to 1,200 people per square kilometer before the onslaught on Gaza.

According to United Nations data, 9 out of 10 people in Gaza have been displaced, and most Palestinians in Gaza are displaced at least once a month.

Israel’s missiles and shells have destroyed, 87.000 housing units and 25.010 residential buildings in addition to partially damaging 297.000 housing units, and damaging 25 hospitals, 3 churches, 25 mosques, 117 schools and universities (332 schools and universities were partially destroyed) and 198 governmental buildings, in addition to destroying 131 ambulances, since October 7, 2023.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said, “The Israeli army committed four massacres of families in the Gaza Strip, over the last 24 hours, killing and wounding dozens, among them 50 slain Palestinians and 124 wounded who were moved to medical centers.”

Israel has now killed at least 40.223 Palestinians, and injured more than 92.981, in addition to the thousands who remain under the rubble, on destroyed streets, and in bombarded alleys, while medics and rescue teams remain unable to reach them in various parts of the coastal enclave, since October 7, 2023.
