On Friday, Day 322 of the ongoing Israeli genocide of the Palestinians in the devastated, destroyed, and starved Gaza Strip, Israeli missiles and shells struck various parts of the coastal enclave, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians.
In Gaza City, one Palestinian was killed, and many were injured when the army fired missiles at the Zeitoun neighborhood.
The army fired artillery shells at the Al-Mufti area, north of the Nusseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza, killing at least one Palestinian and causing several injuries.
A Palestinian child was injured when the army fired live rounds at displaced families in Deir Al-Balah, in central Gaza.
Also, at least one Palestinian was killed and several others were injured, when the army bombarded a home in the Al-Maghazi refugee camp, in central Gaza.
In Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza, the army continued the bombing of various parts of the city, including the Shaima’ area, causing several casualties.
The army also fired artillery shells at the Qleibo area, east of Sheikh Zayed Towers, in northern Gaza.
In Bani Soheila, east of Khan Younis in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the army fired many shells at a few areas, causing several injuries.

Furthermore, medical sources said three Palestinians, including one child, were killed and many were injured when the army fired a missile at displaced Palestinians in Mawasi Khan Younis and Abasan town, east of Khan Younis.
Also, four Palestinians were killed and several others injured when the army fired a missile at a car, southeast of Khan Younis.
The Israeli army intensified its bombing and shelling of the eastern areas of Khan Younis after renewing the evacuation orders for the residents with no other place to go amidst the constant bombing, killing more than twenty Palestinians, including children and women, and wounding dozens, in less than 24 hours.
The Israeli army also fired barrages of shells from tanks invading areas west of Rafah, in Gaza’s southernmost part.
On Thursday, the Israeli army said a soldier was killed in southern Gaza, bringing the number of soldiers who were killed since October 7, to 695. Israeli sources put the number of Israelis, including soldiers, killed since October 7, at about 1.200.
In addition, Muhannad Hadi, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights for the Palestinian territories, said on Thursday that almost 90% of the Gaza Strip’s population has been displaced since October 2023.
Hadi stated that the Israeli evacuation orders are putting civilian lives at risk instead of protecting them, forcing families to flee again into crowded unsafe areas.
“They are forcing families to flee again, often under fire and with the few belongings they can carry with them, into an ever-shrinking area,” he said and added that the Palestinians are deprived of necessities, including water, medical care, shelter, and humanitarian supplies.
UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric said that Israel’s evacuation orders are also posing a threat to UN workers in Gaza and affected the humanitarian facilities, adding the UN became unable to access its warehouse in Deir Al-Balah, in central Gaza.

Doctors Without Borders (MSF) condemned the actions of the Israeli occupation army, labeling the continued displacement of Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip as inhumane.
In a statement released on the “X” platform today, Thursday, the organization reported that Israeli forces compelled residents in Deir al-Balah and Khan Younis to evacuate on Wednesday. Many individuals, including members of MSF, attempted to relocate to the Al-Mawasi area in the south.
Jacob Granger, an MSF worker in Gaza, emphasized that the persistent forced displacement of residents is “inhumane,” and highlighted that those displaced have lost all their belongings and have nowhere to go.
Julie Faucon, the organization’s medical coordinator in the region, noted a rise in skin diseases, such as scabies, attributed to a shortage of hygiene supplies.
“With the ongoing bombardment by Israeli forces, individuals are increasingly forced to seek refuge in a diminishing area, leading to deteriorating conditions and the spread of diseases, particularly among vulnerable populations like children,” Faucon stated.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reported that from July 1 to August 21, Israel issued sixteen eviction orders, resulting in approximately 213,000 Palestinians being forcibly displaced between early August and August 16. UN data indicates that 90% of the population in the Gaza Strip has been displaced due to the ongoing Israeli military actions since October 7.
Israel has now killed at least 40.265 and injured more than 93.144, mostly children, women, and elderly, in addition to the thousands of missing Palestinians, mostly under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings, on destroyed streets and in bombarded alleys across the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023.
