On Friday, Day 322 of the ongoing genocide, Israeli missiles and shells struck various parts of the destroyed, starved, and besieged Gaza Strip, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians.
The army fired shells near the Salahuddin area, east of Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza, killing one Palestinian and wounding several others.

One Palestinian was killed when an Israeli military drone fired a missile at the Al-Musaddar village, while one Palestinian was injured in the Abu Moala area, west of Nusseirat, in central Gaza.
The army also fired artillery shells at the Al-Mufti area, north of the Nusseirat refugee camp, killing at least one Palestinian, and wounding many.
Also, the Israeli army began an extensive offensive in Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza, and ordered all Palestinians to leave the area.
Three Palestinians were killed, and many were injured when the army bombarded Ezbet Abed-Rabbu area, east of Jabalia, in northern Gaza.
Another Palestinian was killed, and several others were injured when the army bombarded the Salateen area, west of Beit Lahia, and was moved to Kamal Adwan Hospital in Jabalia refugee camp.
At least three Palestinians were killed, and many were injured when the army bombarded the Qizan Abu Rashwan area, in the southern part of Khan Younis, while another Palestinian was killed and several residents were injured when the army bombarded a home for the Jadallah family in the Al-Hawouz area in Khan Younis refugee camp.
In addition, many Palestinians were killed and injured by Israeli missiles near the Qdeih graveyard in Abasan Al-Kabira town, east of Khan Younis.
In Rafah, in Gaza’s southmost part, two Palestinians were killed, and many were injured in Israeli shelling of the city before they were moved to Nasser Medical Center.

The army also wired and detonated many homes near the Al-Awda Mosque in the center of the city.
The Israeli army said one soldier was killed and seven were injured in gun battles with Palestinian fighters in central Gaza, Israeli daily Haaretz has reported and added that on Thursday, the army announced the death of another soldier.
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, said its fighters destroyed four Israeli Merkava tanks with a Yassin shell and a Tandem explosive device in the Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah.
Al-Qassam added that, on Thursday, its fighters targeted with shells several soldiers who fortified themselves in Kamal Adwan School in Tal Al-Sultan, west of Rafah, before exchanging fire with them.
The Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad said it fired shells at the Zikim Israeli military base, north of Gaza.

Karim Khan, the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, has affirmed the court’s authority to investigate Israeli nationals and requested that the judges promptly decide on the issuance of two arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Galant.
In documents submitted to the court on Friday, Khan urged the judges to expedite their consideration of the arrest warrants for Israeli officials, emphasizing that any unwarranted delay in these proceedings would adversely affect the rights of victims.
Khan highlighted the court’s jurisdiction over Israeli citizens who perpetrate atrocities in the Palestinian territories and called upon the judges to dismiss legal challenges posed by various governments and entities.

The court filings stated, “It is legally established that the Court has jurisdiction in this situation,” countering legal arguments that reference the Oslo Accords and Israel’s claims of conducting its own investigations into alleged war crimes.
On May 20 (BBC Report), Khan revealed that the court was pursuing arrest warrants against Netanyahu, Galant, and Hamas, on charges of war crimes, from at least October 7, 2023.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the “ICC’s actions,” calling the application “absurd and false” and rejected the comparison between Israel and Hamas, describing it as a “distortion of reality”.
